Jim Baker has decided to redesign the Naboo fighter into a Naboo Aggressor.  When I was a little Mon-key I dreamed of being the R2 unit behind the pilot....until I found out there was no air in space.

Hywel Morse has an eye for beauty.  He didn't mention if Goodbye Christmas was modeled after anyone he knew....I suspect he wouldn't tell us even if it was.  This explains why Santa is always so happy and jolly.

Albert Moore has built the 1/24 Revell 1999 M&M's Pontiac Grand Prix.  M&M stand for "Mon-key & Mon-key".....but it's a secret......proceeds are used to buy weapons for the Simian Liberation Front....Freedom will be ours!!!

David Horn has solved the problems of what to do with old B-52's.......this is his 1/200 Hasegawa FedEx B-52GThe Simian Liberation Front could use a few of these.....

Charlie Arsenault is a crazy Canuck that built a boat.....not just any boat...he built the The Schooner Bluenose 1/65 Billing Boats model.  This is the same boat that appears on the Canadian dime....10 cent coin.......I know this because Bamford pays me 10 cents an hour.

John Green has built the 1/16 Airfix AC Cobra 427.  Big kit......cool engine work......a great ride for picking up chicks.  John did a good job on it...he even put the steering wheel on the "Right" side......

Francisco Colaço has the Sci-fi bug....this is his 1/48 Starghost F1.  The Simian Liberation Front could use this to conquer other planets......

Phil Golding has switched from planes to a 1/12 Tamiya Ducati 888 Racer for a bit of variety.  A very nice change of pace and sure to cure boredom.

Sam Harvey has a view of the new 1/48 F-22 Raptor "Aggressor".  Sam has given us a view into the future....and it looks like a pretty cool future.....The Simian Liberation Front could use a few of these F-22's as well.......

Albert Moore has one that is sure to appeal to all the little girls out there.  This is his 1/24 Revell 1998 Ford Taurus done up in Power Puff Girl markings......they are from a cartoon that appeals to young girls.......

It is will great regret I must leave ARC......I have been offered a high paying consulting job with R.J. Tucker Heavy Industries (plus the Banana Brew is all gone).  The CEO at R.J. has apparently been very keen to hire me for a long time.  Bamford will be back tomorrow.....with luck he'll drop the aircraft only format and continue doing things the way I have demonstrated....very few people build aircraft models.

signed Dan's Mon-key

Neil Burkill is a huge fan of Formula One racing.  So it was only natural for him to build a model of a 1/72 Fureari F-262.  I must admit.....I feel every F1 car should be equipped with cannons....good to see Neil agrees.

Jon Ruehle has built the 1/720 Revell Germany Hindenburg.  In case you've never heard of the Hindenburg......it was a large balloon designed by my Stupid Cousin Larry.

Fernando Torre is here from Canada.....land of the Nutty people.  Fernando has built a model called Martin the Moterhead Clown.....after seeing this article I now recall why I'm afraid of clowns.

Mark Miller has written some alternate history for WW2 and sent in two articles today.  The first article is called 1/72 Buzzby.....a jet engined Fw-190.....designed by the Brits and Germans during WW2......

Rodney Williams has gone "off the deep end" and built Three Submarines.  All different.....all cool......Mon-keys would do good on subs....we're very small......and we don't like to shower.......

Phil Peterson has a love of robot type stuff and cows....so his 1/24 Moo-rine was a natural creation.  The USMC of the Baghdad Hobby Club are also mentioned at the bottom of this article......rule #1....never get a cow mad at you.....or it might invent a "Power suit" and come after you......oh the horror...time for a hamburger!!!  Phil rocks!!

Frank Crenshaw is a designer of avvanced weapons systems.  Here you get a sneak peek at his latest design.....the N1 Sea Abrams.  This is an Abrams that launches from ships and even has an arrestor hook.  Frank...the US military says thanks.

Mark Miller is here with his second nutty alternate history kit bash model for today.  This is his 1/72 Shenkley and you'll get a kick out of his story that goes with it.

Carl Gootzen has built a 1/?? carrier cycle for an ice-cream vendor.  What can I say except....this is one "cool" model.  Part of this model is from a kit....part is scratchbuilt.  It is based on a  real 1/1 carrier cycle.

Bamford has asked me to keep track of everyone that visits ARC....he thinks the hits are going down when I run things here.....he's clueless and I decided to hook up a special camera so I can paint a picture of each person that visited ARC yesterday......what a pile of ugly paintings I have for Bamford when he gets back......U-G-L-Y humans everywhere!!!

Dave DeLang built this 1/25 Revell NASCAR Ford Taurus for a friend at work.  I once painted up a regular Taurus and sold it for $600,000 to a stock car team....they were pissed when they found out it wasn't a race car.....but the SPCA saved me.

Rodney Williams is here with Some Dinosaurs.....the colours are all wrong and the scale patterns are incorrect.......I've watched plenty of Flintstone cartoons......I know what I'm talking about.  Rodney probably hasn't done enough Saturday morning TV research.....for shame!!

Bob Seminsky likes to do things the hard way.  Buy some sheet styrene and make a model.  This is his scratchbuilt 1/25 Armoured Truck.......no doubt about it....bob's kit stash will continue to build if all he does is buy kits an then scratchbuild models....not that a growing kit stash is a bad thing.

Maurizio Bressan is from Italy and has sent in a picture of his 1/35 M13-40....this is a tank of some sort.......sorry....brain fade.....too much Banana Brew on my cereal this morning......

Koray Bayramoglu has built a 1/24 Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper Racing.  I once fit myself and 69 of my cousins into a Mini....then drove to the World Record people to get a picture taken and get in the record books........the SPCA was not amused.......but I'm a poor "innocent" Mon-key.....so Dan Winfield spent the night in Jail.....I told the judge he made us do it.

You stupid inferior humans only have thumbs on your hands.....well I've got thumbs on my feet........I can easily use the mouse with my hands or my feet.  This is the biggest reason the Mon-keys will take over the world....you are all doomed.....live in fear!!!  BTW....I HATE Monday mornings!!!

signed Dan's Mon-key

Pete Wenman has dropped by with a selection of Military Figurines.  We all know there is a right way and a wrong way to do everything......Pete paints figurines the right way.

Ted Johnston has dropped by with his 1/48 Tamiya "Jack".  I'm not sure what the story is behind this one.....something about a Japanese plane......in German markings.......My Stupid cousin Larry is the Technical one in the family.......he glanced at this one and said the paint scheme is historically incorrect.  OH No!!!  The horror of it all!!!!

Grant Matthews builds car models 1/24 Tamiya WRC Subaru.  Now ordinarily building car models isn't delt with too severly here on ARC......but because I'm in charge I've decided we're going to "tar and feather" Grant to correct him of this Car Model building problem.......never mess with a Mon-Key on Monday morning is my only advice.

Vern Gwin is a Canadian.....loonie as their money....but we like them all the same.  Vern is trying to convince us the Canadian Air Force  is in the railway business.  My Stupid Cousin Larry checked this one over and has informed me the story is true, but the shade of gray used by C.A.F. Rail is darker.

Jörgen Toll lives in Europe.....Northern Europe......snowy Northern Europe.......he's built a R.C. Falcon Models Tiger Moth.  This model is very accurate and even flies as slow as the real plane....headwinds are a critical concern for this model....notice the snow in the picture.....makes for soft crashes.

Steve Bamford did up a review of the 1/72 F-14B Red Rippin' Muthas Decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  He said....tell all the F-14 guys to check out this sheet......I said "Make me!!!"

Sunday,  Jan 4  2004          Union of Myanmar Independence Day

I've begun repairing computers.  It was all Dan Winfield's idea........work his poor little Mon-key and use all the money to buy models kits.  Hellooooo!!!  Is there no equality for the superior species on this planet?....such as my species?  Ohhhhhhh.......when will this injustice end.......I still think of my grandaddy and his organ grinding Slave Master.....so I hit ol' Winfield on the head with my Grandaddy's tin cup.....it left a impressive lump on his thick skull.  Mon-keys Unite!!!

Tom Choy from the What-If website  has been forgetting to put the lid back on his glue bottle again.  This is his  Mercedes-Benz/Krauss-Maffei Wegmann Leopard 2A5VSP Racing Tank.  Actually one of these would be pretty cool in rush hour.......time to fly to Germany and check out the Army Surplus sales.

Dmitriy Shapiro is a regular on the discussion board and has now revealed he builds.....CARS!!!  How will he ever live this one down?!?!?  Today he's here with his 1/24 Monogram Shelby 350GT......pretty sporty car......ahhhh.....but there is a certain elegance to my shopping cart with it's one gimpy wheel.

Kaan Gök builds Sci-Fi models.....ohh the horror and shame!!!  I have no clue what the Fireball SG Armored Fighting Suit is.....but it look like something I could do some serious trouble making with.....I wonder if you can buy 3 foot tall Armoured Fighting Suits?  I wonder if anyone would be fool enough to sell a fully armed on to someone like me?  Maybe I'll mailorder one using Dan Winfield charge card.....

Kelly Whitehouse is a girl that loves purple.....so it was only natural she would build the Purple Angel tourer.  There has been much serious discussion on Hyperscale about this model and it seems that paint scheme isn't 100% historically accurate......I'll keep you appraised of details as they unfold.

Saturday, Jan 3  2004

Haaa.....Bamford hates the new  top banner......I told him to take chill pill and call me in the morning.  I had a big date last night with a stripper from the local Zoo......one of the many chimpette babes that flock around me, due to my worldly ways and fancy red Tricycle.  I keep trying to teach Dan Winfield how to score with the females but he keeps telling me to stop spilling Banana Brew all over his kit stash and modeling bench...........stupid fussy ingrate.

Charles P. Kalina is one of many ARC regulars serving in Iraq.  Here are some photos and images of the is one of many ARC regulars serving in Iraq.  Here are some photos  and images of the Baghdad Hobby Club, which was set up by an ARC regular.  Without a doubt this is the fanciest Clubhouse in the world.  Give these guys all the support you can....they deserve it.

MaRiO FeRNaNDeZ has a thing for race cars.  So to prove this point he sent in some pics of his 1/25 Revell M&M's Reynard 98KI. A very nice looking car....even if it doesn't have an ejection seat.....or trophy girls hanging all over it.

Check it out.....Josh Brown's ARC'ers pageIf he could just grow a bit more facial hair he'd be as enchanting with the chimpettes as me!!!

Ray Seppala is from Australia.....that's down by the South pole.  He's taken a perfectly good 1/144 Minicraft Boeing B777-200 and turned it into an  Australian Air Force One.  He's written a funny story as well about this plane......maybe I'll visit Australia and become their leader.......

Maurizio Bressan dropped by from Italy......that's over there somewhere....and this is his 1/35 Italeri Marder III Ausf. H.  It's a German WW2 piece of Armor.....Dan Winfield builds Armor....ever since he attempted to build a plane kit.....time to go spill some Banana Brew on his kits.....then he'll give them to me.....

Friday, Jan 2  2004

Well......looks like I messed up some home page photos yesterday.......Bamford was phoning all day.....talk about  a pile of angry answering machine messages....next time he is going to have to tell me not to hang upside down from a bar when I load stupid pictures to the stupid ARC home page.   I've replaced his boring header banner.....that'll teach him.

Jonathan Williams is the grandson of Master Modeller Rodney Williams and Jonathon is here to show you all how it is done.  Here's an award winning modeller that began when he was 6 years old.  Read his article  My Models For Silly Week 2004 and realise this hobby will never die.

Rodney Williams like to build cars......I don't know why but he does.......A Red Ferrari F-40 is his latest model.  I been wanting to buy a car to pick up Mon-key babaes at the local zoo.....but every time I go down to take the driving Test they say "NO".......damn humans!!!

Leonardo Novelli Krause lives in Brazil and built this model.....it's sort of a plane/robot....check it out and see if you can figure out what it is.....1/100 ARII - Gerwalk VF-1S.  Ahhhh....Brazil....warm beaches....scanty bathing suits...but do you think they let a Mon-key on the beach...."NOOO".... ...damn humans!!!

Maxime Pidara lives in France and designs French Rafale Trainer aircraft.  This happens to be the latest Top Secret design.......just a matter of time before F-16 trainers will be fitted this way at home here in the US.

Before he left.....Steve Bamford did up a decal sheet review of the new 1/32 F-16C Mountain Home Gunfighters Decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  He told me to tell you the nose art markings on this decal sheet ROCK!!!

Before he left.....Steve Bamford also did up a decal sheet review of the new 1/72 NB-52B Mothership "Balls Eight" decal sheet from  Cutting Edge ModelworksI was once a Rocket scientist at NASA.....I helped design some of the Mars probes, they blamed me for the failures....damn humans.

Thursday, Jan 1  2004       Happy New Year and Welcome to the new ARC!!!

Cuba  Anniversary of the Revolution

Haiti  Independence Day                Sudan Independence Day

Well a Happy New Year from the Editorial Desk of Banana Brew Productions.  I will endeavor to provide you all with a very high quality week of interesting models.  Bamford shouted only two instructions....."Don't Change the top Banner!!!"......"And DON'T Screw it up this time!!!".......ya'.....whatever!!!     Dan's Mon-key

Here's Nicks Room in Tampa by Nick.  Some people say this hobby is dying......so...what's your point.......last I checked... Dan Winfield was supporting the whole Hobby in the State of Kentucky....talk about an out of control kit stash.  Nick didn't mention his kit stash....he seems like a builder to me....now that's a rare approach to this hobby........building kits!!!

Next up is Nick Holt......this Nick doesn't live in Tampa....different kid....same name......Nick is a cool name.......sure beats Dan.....This Nick is 8 and this is his first model 1/25 Revell Ford Mustang Series IICool Car!!!

Next up is a 1/48 Testors Roswell UFO by Karl W Branson.  Alvis is from Roswell......he just sort of arrived one day in the late 1940's.....rumor has it he's an Alien......ALL Canadians are Aliens in my opinion.  I once sold plastic snow shovels to Canadians.....funny as all heck watching the cold plastic get brittle and break the first time they used them.

Dmitriy Shapiro thought he was the youngest visitor to ARC.....HELLLLLLO Dmitriy.......ever heard of two guys named Nick!?!?!  This is Dmitriy's 1/350 Airfix S.S. Canberra..... Canberra is in Australia.....land of BEER!!!

Maurizio Bressan build armor kits.....just like that Winfield guy.....armor!?!?!  This is the 1/35 Dragon M240 which for the idiots among you is a  MLRS a rocket launcher.....I drove one of these......Dan Winfield bought it at an Army Surplus sale......quite the hoot during the morning rush hour.
