This model was assembled from a kit by the Korean firm Academy. I built this model for someone else.  This was built for a pilot, "Hero of  Russia", veteran of war in Afghanistan.

The model was built in 1.5 months.  Any additional accessories, except for the kit decals, which I chose not to use, so it is more or less an "out of the box" build.  Still I did  scratchbuild an ejection seat К- 36 and pilot.

My customer wanted an in flight "configuration", so I cut a special crack under a support, which has taken from other model (rather rare thing). Building models in flight does simplify  the building process, because it was not necessary to make and paint the landing gear and wheel wells.

However, another problem - closing the wheel wells was a challenge. As you can guess, the landing gear doors were not a perfect fit.

The model is photographed without rockets or pylons and without the finer details. I have to transport this model and these details will be added once the model is safely in the customers home.  This will minimize the damage to delicate parts during delivery to the customer.  After these photos were taken the plane was is covered matt flat.

Conclusion

I used a little decals: Eagle Strike, Neomega and Academy. This plane from 120 IAP, airbase Domna, that near border of Russia and China. 120 IAP by planes MiG-23MLD accepted active participation in 80 years in war in Afghanistan.
