David Teo is having a productive year and this 1/48 Minicraft Singapore Flying College Beechcraft Bonanza F33 is his first completed model.  David overcame some fit issues on this kit and finished it in Singapore/Australian markings using custom made decals.  Very cool David.


Darren Roberts is here with one of the first F-14s.  This is his 1/48 Tamiya F-14A finished with Steel Beach resin set and Caracal Decals and looking quite nice. 


Chris Parsons has done a first class job on his 1/72 ATR 72-500-Vacuform.  Chris did quite a bit of added scratchbuilding on his ATR 72 and finished it in Canadian livery using custom markings.  This is the first ATR 72 on ARC which is pretty special after over 20 years.

  Space Shuttle Challenger Accident 1986 

Carl Jarosz starts today with his very attractive 1/48 Italeri Canadair CL.13 (F-86F) Sabre.  This is a Cougar Squadron jet in an awesome looking baremetal finish using paint and foil to create the bare metal effect.  Carl builds great looking models that I always enjoy seeing.


Darren Roberts is here with his very unique looking 1/72 Hobbycraft P-36 Hawk.  Darren chose to finish his P-36 in a pre-delivery paint scheme.  I really enjoyed seeing this P-36 in this unique paint scheme. 


Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with a classic kit.  This is his 1/48 AMT Ertel S-3B Viking looking excellent in it's USN markings using Fightertown decals.  This was not a complete kit, but that didn't slow down Shawn.

Russia - End of Leningrad blockade  (1944)

Pascal Lafrenière is here with a classic workhorse from Quebec in Canada,  This is his 1/72 Italeri Canadair CL-415 with weathering and aftermarket decals and aftermarket detail items.

Darren Roberts has been busy Building Models for a Museum to assist them during the pandemic.  Darren has 3 models in his article and all 3 look excellent.

Christoffer Petersen has done an exceptional job on the paint scheme on his 1/48 Hasegawa CF-104G.  Christoffer finished it as a Danish jet in quite the complicated camo scheme.  I love the look of this Danish Starfighter.

Australia Day

India Republic Day

Tom Thounaojam starts off this special Indian update with his very attractive 1/72 Heller Su-30MK-1 SB-001.  Tom did extra work to get his model to accurately represent the first Su-30 in Indian service.  I love the blue camo.

Tom Thounaojam did some very skillful added scratchbuilt detailing to make his 1/72 Hasegawa MH-60R Romeo as it appears in Indian Navy service.  This is quite interesting to see the MH-60R in Indian service.  Great work Tom.. 

Bob TheDoc has done extensive work scratchbuilding additional details on his 1/48 Trumpeter MiG-23MF.  This is impressive work and I enjoyed reading his article and seeing his 30 photos.  Impressive work Bob.

Darren Roberts gets your week started with his 1/48 Monogram A-4E Skyhawk.  This Skyhawk is finished in colorful USN markings.  Nicely done Darren, I enjoyed seeing your photos of this one. 

H. Davis Gandees is here with a very special 1/48 Brewster F2A-3 Buffalo NAS Miami-The WWII "Top Gun".  There was plenty of extra work done to make this Buffalo as accurate as possible including scratchbuilding a gun camera for the side of the engine cowling.  I quite enjoyed comparing photos of this model to the historic photo in the article.  H. Davis got everything bang-on.

Paul Fernandez is here with his very well done and comical 1/72 Filipino Diorama.  The background alone makes this diorama, if you've ever been to the Philippines, then you will understand.  Well done Paul, it makes me homesick....in a good way.

Fanch Lubin is here with his first model on ARC and what a masterpiece it is.  This is his 1/32 Kinetic F/A-18A+ with plenty of aftermarket detail items and a stunning camo paint scheme.  Enjoy the 45 photos.  Welcome to ARC Fanch.

Ulysses Almeida is here with the very rare twin-Mustang.  This is his 1/48 Modelcraft XP 82 with plenty of added work and much determination.  Ulysses finished model does look very good.

Osvaldo Viggiani has been very busy scratchbuilding endless detail for his 1/32 Fly Models Arado 234 B.  He details his added work and includes plenty of photos for you to enjoy his work.  Excellent work Osvaldo.

David Eduardo Canto Herrera is here on ARC for the first time with a special Gulf War SAS Chinook.  This is his 1/72 Airfix Chinook HC. 1 with plenty of added modifications and finished in a special camo scheme.  David tells some of the history behind this Chinook.  Excellent work David, welcome to ARC!!!

Tolga Ülgür is here with one of the most famous Jugs from WW2.  This is 1/32 Hasegawa P-47D25 “GABRESKI” with all the wonderful extra detailing that Tolga adds to his models and flawlessly finished in a very attractive camo scheme.  Enjoy the photos, I know I did.

RSK48, Rafael is here with something special today.  This is his 1/48 Classic Airframes Vampire T-Mk55 two seat trainer finished in Venezuela Air Force markings using custom made decals.  Rafael tells the history behind the Vampires in Venezuela Air Force service.

Here's a product article for the 1/32 Su-27 Early Tail Stinger from Zactomodels.  This is a simple item to use....cut the corresponding part off the model and glue this hollow tail into place with CA glue.  There is also a small styrene rood included for you to add the various antennas specified in the instruction sheet.  The stinger is cast hollow to help reduce weight at the tail end of the model.

Riccardo Faraon is here to mark the 30th Anniversary of Desert Storm with his exceptional 1/48 Revell F-15E Strike Eagle.  Riccardo used a large amount of aftermarket detail parts and then wrapped up his Strike Eagle with amazing weathering and a complete diorama with airfield equipment.  Absolutely amazing work Riccardo.

Chris Parsons is here with the first ATR 42 on ARC.  This is his 1/72 ATR 42-300-Vacuform with added detailing and finished in Canadian livery.  The extra work Chris did added so much more wonderful detail to his model.  This is very cool to see on ARC.

Rahul Kulkarni joins us with a very cool looking Warthog in a D-Day paint scheme.  This is his 1/72 Tamiya A-10 Thunderbolt II in D-Day Heritage Flight Scheme and subtle weathering.  I quite enjoy this paint scheme.

  Martin Luther King, Jr Day 

Piotr Sarniński-Górecki is here with his first article on ARC to mark the recent 30th Anniversary of Operation Desert Storm with the jet that started Desert Storm.  This is his 1/72 Academy F-117 Nighthawk beautifully finished.  Welcome to ARC Piotr!!!


Tolga Ülgür is here from Turkey with another masterpiece.  This is his 1/32 Dragon Messerschmitt Bf 110 C-7 with a few aftermarket upgrades and finished with just the perfect amount of weathering and paint chipping.  I love seeing Tolga's latest models on ARC. 

Juergen Baumgart has done extensive work detailing his 1/144 ARK Boeing 707-331 TWA.  Juergen even went to the trouble to print custom decals for a TWA airliner from a simpler time.  Juergen details all his work in his article...I am very impressed.

Today on my wife's Youtube channel "Mai Sexy Garage"... Mai thinks back to the summertime and the warmer weather.  She really does miss the white sandy beaches on the island of Boracay..
Any income from these videos will be used to support ARC.  Thanks everyone!!   

RSK48, Rafael has done an impressive job detailing and finishing his 1/48 Italeri Texan T-6G.  Rafael added scratchbuilt details and gave his Texan a flawless bare metal finish with the perfect amount of weathering.  He also included the history of the Texan in Venezuelan Air Force service.

Ashish Velankar has been very busy getting everything perfect on his 1/48 Revell Rafale C Marine.  Ashish added navigation lights and a full weapons load and drop tanks to bring his Rafale to life.  Enjoy the photos, there is lots to see.

Klaasjan Schuuring is here with a special treat for Spitfire fans.  These are his two 1/48 Eduard Spitfire Mk1 Spitfire Story, the Few.  These are the original early Spitfires and I love them, but I am a huge Battle of Britain fan.  I really need to build an early Spitfire.

Thomas Brückelt is here with a very special Greek Starfighter.  I'm pleased to show you his 1/48 Revell F-104G Starfighter Mount Olympos.  Thomas added resin goodies to the cockpit and exhaust and chose one of the most attractive paint schemes.  His photos are a treat to see.

Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with a classic WW2 trainer.  This is his 1/32 Kittyhawk Harvard finished in Canadian markings.  Shawn has high praise for this Kittyhawk Harvard kit and I must say I love the look of his finished model.

Paulo Lopes Lopes did a fabulous job detailing and finishing his 1/144 Great Wall Hobby Me 323 D1 "Gigant".  Paulo finished this beauty with a stunning weathering job.

Bob TheDoc joins us from India with his gorgeous looking 1/72 Hasegawa Ki-84 Hayate 'Frank'.  Bob gives a good insight into building this kit and tells about the Ki-84.  I love the look of Bob's fighter.

Carl Jarosz is here with another gem from his talented hands.  This is his 1/48 Italeri Canadair CL.13 (F-86F) Sabre finished with great looking Luftwaffe camo and markings.  Beautiful work Carl.

Daniel Vazquez joins us from Mexico with his beautifully weathered 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109 K4.  Daniel did an excellent job on his late war 109.  Well done Daniel.

Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with another addition to his growing Star Trek fleet.  This is his 1/1000 USS Enterprise (Discoprise) with quite the complicated paint scheme.  Shawn was kind enough to include some photos of his other Star Trek ships. 

Ulysses Almeida stopped by the ARC corporate offices in Brazil with his 1/48 Hawk NASA ER2.  This ER2 is finished as a NASA jet with scratchbuilt improvements in the cockpit and the engine intake and exhaust.  It's great to see this jet in this paint scheme and markings.

Tom Zuijdwegt is here with his first article on ARC.  This is a collection of his various air racers.  These are his Formula F48 Air Racing in 1/48 wearing a wonderfully colourful variety of liveries.  Outstanduing work Tom, welcome to ARC!!!

Mack Main is here with his great looking 1/72 Academy Wildcat Mk.3 finished as a RN fighter out of Ceylon during WW2.  I love the look of this Wildcat.  Great work Mack.

Greg Kerry is back today with more of his custom made display bases using scrap kit parts.  His article is called Any Scrap, Any Scale and I think you will find the idea quite interesting, I know I did.

Congrats to the Team USA for winning the Gold Medal game against Team Canada in the World Junior Hockey Championships.  

A well played victory.  Excellent performances by both Teams.


Greg Kerry is here with another of his customized beauties.  This is his 1/12 Aoshima Kawasaki Zephyr with quite a few very tasteful modifications. I ride motorbikes myself, so I really appreciate Greg's work.

Björn Bäcklund is here with not one, but two Hasegawa eggplanes.  One is a Hasegawa Fw-190 converted to a Dora and the other is a scratchbuilt Me 262 eggplane using the Fw-190 as a starting point.  Both are truly impressive.  Björn has included in-progress photos showing how the Me 262 was built.

Dave Bailey, aka The Rat is here with another gem  This is his RT-11 Iskra with a wonderful story go explain the story of this epic jet.

Greg Kerry gets things fired up today with his 1/12 Tamiya Yamaha Virago.  Greg did quite a bit of custom work on his bike with excellent results.

Dave Bailey, aka The Rat has been building building The Farley Flutterbug.  This is quite the creative design and Dave has a full story to go with it.

Björn Bäcklund is here with a first on ARC.  This is his 1/20 scale bumper car made from a computer mouse.  I'm impressed.

Union of Myanmar Independence Day

Dave Bailey, aka The Rat is here with his Vickers Wellesley, Belgian 3rd Air Regiment.  Dave has his quite convincing story of this aircraft that served with Belgian forces.  Nice one Dave.

Greg Kerry is here with an article that caught my eye (I had a Honda minibike back in 1969) and this diorama features 1/35 Tamiya British Paratroopers with minibikes.  Greg has talent for creating interesting scenes.

Björn Bäcklund has been busy scratchbuilding his SAAB J 29 Tunnan from a variety of kit parts and good old fashioned modelling talent.  I do like the look of this Swedish eggplane jet.

Björn Bäcklund has hit a comical homerun with his hilarious Pick Panther.  This is his A Panther that is pink done to perfection, it even includes whiskers!!

Dave Bailey, aka The Rat is back today with his epic battle story of the Fairey Battle IIA and the 2 heros that flew her.  Dave has a wonderful talent for telling stories. 

Mike Muth is here with a real eggplane gem.  This is his Mittens Kittyzaki complete with a cat as a pilot.  I am impressed as is every cat that sees this model.

Björn Bäcklund starts today with some truly unique.  This is his Una Vespa speciale which is a Vespa chopper made from 2 different diecast models.  This is truly creative.

Kees Kuyper is here today with his 1/72 Dutch Osprey.  This looks great in Dutch markings.

H. Davis Gandees has been very creative in designing The Bonneville "Learbus".  I like the idea as he explains it in his article.

Björn Bäcklund gets Silly week fired up with his Tijuana Taxi...actually 2 versions of the Tijuana Taxi kit.  I recall these various hot rod kits from the 1960's...thos were fun time.  It is good to see Björn's Tijuana Taxi here on ARC. 

Kees Kuyper is here with his very convincing what-if  Alouette Osprey.  I always enjoy seeing his latest design.....very creative indeed.


Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with a great selection of Sure isn't 1:1, Star Trek exploration set.  These are from the original Star Trek and look very realistic.  It's pretty cool to see these.

Dave Bailey, aka The Rat joins us here during Silly week with his what-if story about the RAAF Vickers Wellesley maritime Patrol.  A rather convincing story and it is great to see the photos.
