VE Day- Victory In Europe Day

After many years of dedicated service in the role of Administrators and Moderators on ARC, Ken Middleton and Albert Moore have decided to hang up their ARC work caps and take a well deserved break from the stressful side of ARC.  I would like to wish them both the very best and I hope they enjoy their new found free time to get in more time at their workbenches.  Please send them both your appreciation and thanks for all their many hours of hard work.

May Day   -  Labor Day

Keeper joins us with a very large selection of photos from the recent Pittsburgh Model Show 2007.  It looks like a show well worth attending.   Well done Doc!!!

Pablo Calcaterra is here with his 1/48 HobbyCraft Sea Harrier "SHAR Tales".  This article marks the 25th anniversary of the of first engagement of the  Argentine Airforce in Malvinas / Falklands War.  Pablo has included much Argentinean info in his article regarding this conflict which I hope will further add to the knowledge base regarding this conflict.  I can't believe it's been 25 years.....I feel old......

Gabriel Stern is here to make you grin with another of his historical wonders.  This is his 1/72 Scratch-built Walco (Weckler-Armstrong-Lillie Co.) Airboat of 1913 complete with his usual well written and amusing article to go with his wacky early aircraft.  This particular aircraft looks reminds me of the Wright Flyer sitting on top of a canoe.....but have a look and you be the judge.

Busolini Massimo is here with his mostly out of the box 1/48 Hasegawa F-104G Starfighter.  Massimo chose the markings for the NASA test fleet for his starfighter to add one of these classic NASA jets to his collection.

Hal Marshman has been busy adding scratchbuiolt detaisl to his 1/48 Tamiya Vought F4U-1 Corsair.  Check out what Hal did to his Corsair.....all very good options for your next Corsair.  He finished it in mid-WW2 markings.  Nice one Hal.

Alan Williamson is here with his very special 1/48 Tamiya BF-109E-4/7.  Alan added a resin cockpit and resin engine to his 109....and this project took a  while to complete.  I have grand projects like this I never finished.....I applaud Alan for completing this gem.
