trying. Welcome to ARC Pete!!!

diorama that would put his 190 into a proper setting. Excellent
job Ben.....welcome to ARC!!!
-
Karl Sander has
been very busy superdetailing his 1/48 Monogram EA-6B Prowler.
Karl knows the Prowler better than most and this permitted him to get
the detail right. He used a resin cockpit, a wingfold set to add
life a realism to his Prowler. To deal with some of the issues
with this older kit Karl used a correction set from Cutting
Edge. After all that Karl has a Prowler that is truly first
class.
-
Jerry Hawhee (Old Blind Dog)
has been busy adding details to his

added plenty of aftermarket detail items and his excellent skill to
create a truly impressive Phantom.
-

joins us with
his impressive 1/48 Trumpeter Westland Wyvern S.4.

adding weathering....this is where Erik took his Wyvern to a much
higher level. Amazing.

After 29 years, I have
decided to finally quit my job. During the coming weeks I will be
helping out during the transition phase to ensure the business isn't adversely
affected. I plan to take 2 years off and live off savings while I
ponder what I want to do with my time. This will give me time to
focus on my family and ARC and get to a few projects I've been
putting off.

- I spent 8 hours
yesterday and I'll spend a most of today supervising the excavation of
our backyard. After 3 months of waiting, the crew has arrived to
remove the raised shrub garden that takes up the whole of our tiny
backyard and drop the whole area down 2 to 3 feet so I can begin
putting in gardens for myself and a lawn for my kids to play on.
I'll be doing the backyard with a slight Japanese garden
theme. As I write this late Thursday night, I'm pretty
tired.....it's been an exhausting week (did 4 major services on
various cars and 7 brake jobs). Construction is booming in our
city, so long waits for any sort of work is the norm. I hope to
have this project wrapped up by late spring or early summer.....my
daughter wants a summertime birthday in the new backyard.
There's always got to be a deadline.....

We had a heck of a time
with the kids last night Trick or Treating and doing all the Halloween
activities. Between pumpkin carving after school before we went out,
then the kids staying up later than normal....it left little time for
putting together an update.
