This conversion is meant to be used with the Zactomodels MiG-29 correction set which includes closed louvers to replace the molded on kit louvers.  If you are using this conversion on the stock Revell kit, then carefully cut away the area shown in the instructions without removing the louvers.

This is an In-Progress thread on ARC which will show the development of this set and some of the other detail items Zactomodels has available for the MiG-29.

The wing tips have been completely reshaped and they are an absolute joy to behold with all their sleek curves and bumps.  The spline is delicately adorned with recessed panel lines and all the rivet detail you would find on the full sized jet.  You also get reinforcement panels that are vinyl stick-on for a very effective and easy application of these thin panels.  When I saw the parts in this set, I just had to sit back and carefully enjoy every curve, panel line and rivet.......the 1/32 MiG-29 builders are going to love this set.

Resin casting is of a very high quality and all the detail is very well done with no air bubbles.  This new resin set from Zactomodels will permit modelers to take their 1/32 MiG-29 and convert it into a jaw dropping MiG-29C.  I must say I am excited about the prospect of Zactomodels producing a cockpit set as well as a gear well set.

I would like to thank Chris at Zactomodels for providing me with this product sample.
