This new decal sheet from Authentic Decals  

Here I am again, folks with a review of another good quality item from Authentic Decals. This time around they looked into new territory and issued a decal set for US NAVY Sikorsky SH-60F Ocean Hawk and HH-60H Rescue Hawk.

As usual, the quality of these decals is very good. They are clearly printed and all the emblems and national insignia are in perfect register. The lacquer layer is also very thin.

You get one full set of stencils as well as national insignia. There are 2 pages of instruction sheets showing decal placement and camo layout. The set traditionally packed up in a zip plastic bag with cardboard sheet which prevents it from bending. The back side of it is the colour guide covering some of the 8 options provided by the manufacturer. Lets get inside the package.

• Option One is HH-60H, Late Version Flight No 5

• Option Two is SH-60F from USS Abraham Lincoln Helarson Two Holden Falcons Fight No 610 which took part in Sumatra Tsunami Rescue in Jan 2005

• Option Three is HH-60H Early Version Flight No 5

• Option Four is SH-60F from USS Ronald Reagan HS-4 Black Knights Flight No 610 which took part in Philippines Typhoon Rescue in July 2008

• Option Five is HH-60H Rescue Hawk, Early Version three-coloured scheme from USS Nimitz, Flight No 4

• Option Six is SH-60F Ocean Hawk also from USS Nimitz, Flight No 610 which took part in support for Operation Iraqi Freedom from March-November 2003

• Option Seven is again HH-60H, Late Version Flight No 5

• And finally, Option Eight is SH-60F Ocean Hawk Flight No 610 from USS John C. Stennis which took part in Support the Global War on Terrorism in August 2007.

Looks like Authentic has shown strong interest to US NAVY topic. So we would welcome their effort and wish them luck to producing more of the unique and authentic sets for us.
