This
new decal sheet from
Leading
Edge Models has been much anticipated
for many years. It features the CAF F-18's that flew overhead
during the 50th Anniversary of the D-Day landings on June 6 1994.
The two CF-18's
on this sheet are aircraft #703 and #781, both wearing the identical D-Day
anniversary markings. I remember Hasegawa released a 1/48 CF-18 model wearing these
markings, BUT the Hasegawa decals are incorrect and have the JEJ code letters on
both sides. The real aircraft had JEJ on one side and 9GA on the other side, so
if you want to do this aircraft correctly, then you need this decal sheet.
The
instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft. The
decals are beautifully printed on 3 decal sheets. One complete set
of stencils is included on this decal sheet.
But you also get full painting
masks to help you paint the canopy and D-Day stripes. Wow...this is quite
the set.

When I opened up the
package and saw these decals I was quite excited....these are much
anticipated and will sell fast...buy 'em while you can.
