As it might seem pointless to some to present a decal sheet which is already sold out at the manufacturer, I decided to do it anyway. My point is that some of the distributors still might have these in stock. There is always a possibility of reprint (as seen around the market). Rising Decals from Czech Republic brought this set under #RD72007 on the market in 2006 following their previous part dealing with captured Japanese Army Aircraft. There is not a set of these in 1/48 scale (how about that Rising Decals?).

This is a two sheet set complete with US, British and Japanese National insignias. The set offers markings for 11 (eleven) aircraft:

• A6M5 m.52 "Zero" (s/n 1303) tested by TAIC as aircraft No.11 at RAF Station Seletar, Singapore, 1945

• A6M2 m.21 "Zero" (Nakajima built s/n unknown) tested by ATAIU-SEA as "B1-02" at Tebrau AB, Malaya, 1946

• D4Y3 M.33 "Judy" (s/n 3957) tested by TAIU-SWPA as aircraft No.16 at Clark Field, Philippines, June 1945

• N1K1-J m.11 "George" (s/n 7102) tested by TAIU-SWPA as aircraft No.9 at Clark Field, Philippines, June 1945

• A6M5 m.52 "Zero" (s/n 4340) tested by TAIC as aircraft No.7 at Anacostia NAS, Washington D.C., September 1945

• A6M5 m.52 "Zero" (s/n 4340) - ex"TAIC No.7" at Wright Field, Ohio and Freeman Field, Indiana, 1945-46. This example carried Japanese national insignia.

• A6M5 m.52 "Zero" (s/n 4340) - ex"TAIC No.7" at Freeman Field, Indiana, 1946. After the aircraft received white fuselage band with red outline.

Decals are printed in superb quality and my samples are in perfect register.

Instruction sheet in English is well done and shows not only the decal placements but also lists suggested Colors (The Gunze Mr. Color range). Listed are also used references and recommended 1/72 scale kits.

So, if you want to have your George, Jill, Zero, Jack or Judy in an interesting color scheme, this is the decal sheet to have.
