The sixth plane is a Ki-27 Otsu
Type 97 Fighter with the 77th Sentai 1st Chutai, probably Lampang AB/Thailand at
the beginning of 1942. The
overall colour for this plane is a "greenish gray" (gray color with slight green tint, and is slightly lighter than RLM 02
color) with green and brwon camo on the uppersurfaces to match the terrain for
this aircraft theater of operations. Markings include white bands and the
Sentai emblem on the tail shows 1st Chutai. There are blue
and white fuselage bands but the assigned pilot of this aircraft is
unknown.
The seventh plane is a Ki-27 Otsu
Type 97Fighter of the Manchuria AF photographed at Takanosu AB/Fukouka Pref on
sept 17 1942. The
overall colour for this plane is a "greenish gray" (gray color with slight green tint, and is slightly lighter than RLM 02
color). Markings include Manchuria AF national insignia and 6 large asian
characters along the side of the fuselage.
