Here's a preview of a new
release from Two Bobs. This sheet features two scales (1/48
and 1/32) of this commorative jet that marks the final reunion of the
352nd Fighter Group. This "Cripes A' Mighty" Viper
in in the paint scheme of the famous World War 2 Ace Maj. George
Preddy. Maj. George Preddy had a total of 26.83 confirmed kills
and died Christmas Day 1944 while chasing a Fw-190 at tree top level for
his third kill of the day. Sadly he was hit by friendly
fire. The 149th Fighter Squadron of the 192nd Fighter Wing of the
VA ANG owes it lineage to the fine airmen of the "Bluenosed
Bastards of Bodney".
This sheet was originally
released in 1/48 scale and this new sheet includes 1/48 and 1/32 scale.
This aircraft has the
strange engine/intake combination of a small mouth intake paired with a
GE motor.
