This new resin cowling from Cutting Edge Modelworks is a corrected cowling for the Roden Fokker Dr.I.  The Roden kit has a definite weak spot in the lack of detail on the cowling.  This carefully crafted resin replacement includes a separate font plate, the fine rivet lines, and the rolled outer circumference as seen on the real Dr.1.

Resin casting is of a very high quality and all detail is very well done.  Considering the prominent aspect of this part on the Dr.1 model......this resin piece from Cutting Edge Modelworks will be a fine addition if you are concerned about getting your Dr.1 looking as accurate as possible.
