This new decal
sheet from Cutting Edge
Modelworks includes markings for 3 different Fw-190A's.
The
first aircraft is a Fw-190 A-7 flown by Major Heinz Bar with II./JG
1, Rheine, in March 1944. The paint scheme is overall light
blue RLM 76 on the fuselage sides and bottom. There is a red
theatre band on the rear fuselage and a red #13 on the side of the
fuselage. The top rear of the fuselage is grey RLM 75 as well
as the forward top of the engine cowling and the topside area around
the canopy is green RLM 74. There is also a yellow RLM 04
panel under the engine (although there is a chance this panel could
be red) and a white spiral on the prop spinner. Artwork on the
side of the engine cowling includes red hawk on a black and white
background. The rudder is white and has markings for 200
kills.
The
second aircraft is a Fw-190 A-6 flown by Major Anton Hackl with Stab
III./JG 11 from Oldenburg, Germany in April 1944. The paint
scheme is overall light blue RLM 76 on the fuselage sides and
bottom.
