Turkey National Independence and Children Day

Hello All!

This is my another Bf-109G-6 from Hasegawa in 1:48th scale.  I guess there is no need to talk  about Bf-109G-6 version.  Perhaps it is the most popular member of Me109 family with RLM 74-75-76 paint scheme and with nice mottling.  It was flown by famous aces as Hartmann and Barkhorn and described as a perfect aircraft by ace of aces Hartmann.

And Hasegawa's Bf-109 series is as famous as fighter's itself.  Looks like the Hasegawa guys paid lots of attention to details and fit quality.  Actually, as I said no need to talk about the kit much.

I should tell you that I got this kit from my dear friend Murat Madak.  He started to build modern navy jets recently and passed this kit which he couldn't complete at all.  When he handed over  the kit, the cockpit was completed and painted by RLM 66 and fuselage was glued.  That is all.

On the decal sheet,  2 profiles are provided.  I chose the one from unit JG77.  It is an early G-6 without loop antenna and has a longer mast.  But the strange part was RLM02 covered part on starboard and port sides.  I guess existing numbers were painted by hand and unit  marking and number (yellow 16) were painted over  it.
I used modelmaster RLM series (02,04,66,74,75,76)  for painting, as gloss coat Tamiya X-22, matt was from Modelmaster.

Happy modelling!
