This is the first
Czech and Slovak airforce jet. After WWII there remained on the former Luftwaffe
airfields a lot of Me-262 wreckage, aircraft and JUMO 004 engines which became
a good source for building new ones. Airframes were made by the Avia factory and
the engines by LOM Malešice. The first Schwalbe designated as AVIA S-92 flew In
August 1946. A total of nine S-92s and one twin seater CS-92 were made. Later
there were
two S-92 converted to CS-92. The S and CS-92 were put out of serivce in 1951.

Eduard offers the limited
edition of this bird in 1/144 scale. This kit was released for the Eduard
Day event as a bonus for participants
I think the kit is
one of the best 1/144 kits. Considering its scale the shape and style of the kit
is perfect. It also fits well. You will only need some sanding and filling
around the rear engine cowling - wing edge and the wing-fuselage on the belly.
I also added the antenna wire and new thin pitot tube
The colour should be green-grey similar to RLM 02. I used the mixed Tamiya
paints.
enjoy...
