Excerpt from "Fall of the Empire: The Decline of the Automobile" 

"In an attempt to catch the "Star Wars" Generation of consumers, the Daimler/Chrysler Corporation attempted to market a new version of their PT Cruiser.  Unfortunately, while it rode high over the surrounding traffic, its' fuel economy was lacking, and the ride itself tended to induce nausea.  It also was implicated in a series of roll over accidents, which Daimler/Chrysler attempted to blame on "Rebel Scum" using tow cables..." 

The model was made from a diecast PT Cruiser which is in 1/36 scale, and the legs from a "Structor" series of Star Wars models.  The ATAT is one of my favourite vehicles in the Star Wars movies, and I always wanted a smaller, more economical one.  Maybe one day, after a huge lottery win...
