I kitbashed a 1/72 F-105G Monogram kit with a 1/72 Monogram SR-71 kit. The idea behind this was to build a fantasy plane that might actually have been on the drawing boards once at the Skunkworks.  The cool thing about kitbashing is that you're building something that might have actually been built.

I showed this to my God-Father, who flew F-105's over North Vietnam (100+ missions).  He got a real kick out of this model.
