This
is my 1/48 Typhoon that I finished a little while ago. The kit is built
out of the box with some RAF seatbelts from Eduard and a little fuse wire
just to add a little detail to the cockpit.
The
kit itself was a very pleasing kit, there was no problems with the quality
of the plastic or the fit of the parts, and it went together surprisingly
well. A bit of filler was required along the join lines of the
fuselage and along the wings to smooth it out.
It
was painted using Tamiya and Gunze acrylics. I added a little bit of
blue to the grey on the top of the wings to darken it up a little and to
seperate the tones of grey between the underside and upperside of
the aircraft.

The
decals were exceptional and were easy to apply and conformed nicely with a
little help from some Micro Set and Micro Sol. Weathering was done with
some chrome silver for paintchipping, and artists pastels for
weathering. The diorama was achieved by using the RAF set from
ICM.
Enjoy!
