Indochina War -- 10,000Day War -- Vietnam War anniversary Jan 30 2007

This helicopter flew in the Vietnam War in the 174th AHC (Assault Helicopter Company). That company was named "Sharks & Dolphins"

More information about that : www.174ahc.org (a very very interesting page !).

There were two "Easy Riders" the first one crashed due to a tail rotor strike (UH-1C), the second one came to them in 1971.

Revell 04476 is the name of the kit, and it's currently available. The "Easy Rider" emblem is a home printed decal, the shark mouth, the stripes on the tail and the flag at the end of the tailboom are painted by hand.

Well I've got to say that the tailnumber is wrong, and the real shark mouth is more curved ;-)

Hope you like it.
