I'm not a huge fan of rally cars
but the big T has made some stunning cars of late. The latest that caught
my attention was the "206". I had originally chosen to feature
this model as the Valentino Rossi "Michelin" car, but I picked up the
wrong model 206. I took a lot of care building this model, as blemishes
and marks show up on shiny car bodies, and I think I've done a good job.
The model is finished in Humbrol enamels, Alclad, and with extra help from lots
of decals solutions to get those red markings around the curves of the 206,
finished off with a couple of coats of Tamiya clear.

Unfortunately, Richard Burns passed
away on the 25 November this year, losing a two year battle to a brain
tumour. I finished this model not long before. As a tribute to a
great rally driver, I offer this model of his Championship Winning Car.
Enjoy.
