1/32 Revell Mig-29 Fulcrum

--------------------

This is my first article on the ARC. This is my trial and error MIG-29.  The whole model took me about two months, working some hours here and there.  The kit was build straight out of the box, some modifications were made using scratch material. The whole thing was painted using Testors model master paints. I wasn't too crazy about the original decal options so I went with my own colors. The color scheme is from the USRR Air Force, some air base close the Afghanistan border. Since the original decals didn't offer the CCCP seal or the number in red I had to do some surgery in some old decals and hand paint the 47 number in the intakes. For the final finishes I primed
the entire thing with MM flat black, and each color for the camo was painted on a day to day basis. After all was done I used some black charcoal and Q-tips to highlight certain areas. The good old future went next, decals, more future, a panel wash with enamels and last a flat coat.

As I said before, this is my first time using all this cool techniques, thanks to the ARC "how-to" section and with the help of some really nice
 people on the ARC forums.

Right now I am working on two 1/48 F-16s but it is taking me more time to build them because I don't have too much time. You can check to work of this MiG a bit more in detail here:   www.freewebs.com/qsscalemodels
