Here is my Tornado of the German navy in 1/144. Years ago I got this nice kit from my friend Matthias - Thanks, once again!

I decided to show my model airborne and added two figures from Heroes Models ( https://heroesmodels.it/ ).

I guess because of demolding, the shape of the fins of the AS.34 Kormoran anti ship missiles were wrong. I replaced them by self made parts out of 0.5 mm polystyrene.

The nose inside the kit shows the longer nose of the ADV-version which does not fit to a German Tornado, because there are only the IDS and ECR versions in the German forces. So I brought views into the right size and made the correct nose out of polystyrene.

The thickness of the intakes was too much, so I removed some material there on the inner sides.

Further I added a pitot tube out of stretched sprue and the small antennas right behind the radom.

The model was painted with brush and colors from Humbrol and Revell (enamels). With a sponge I painted the typical dirt caused my the thrust reversers on the vertical stabilizer.

The decals were a bit stiff, so I had to use mark softer.  The model was sealed with flat varnish from Tamiya.

Greetings from Germany
