Happy to share my first civil
aircraft build on the ARC site. This is a AMT 1:48 kit Stinson Reliant SR-9 that
were manufactured between 1933 and 1941. These were sturdy aircraft and could
land on semi prepared runways.

The aircraft was
painted with local camel acrylic colours. Spraying the gold acrylic was a
challenge and required frequent cleaning of the airbrush. The gold color came
out very well and provides a nice contrast to the gloss white..
I have used the decals that
came with the AMT kit. The kit itself is quite good and required minimum amount
of sanding and filling. I paired this gullwing personal plane with a Chevy
pickup to create a small diorama. Hope you like it.
