CF-5A Freedom Fighter, Venezuela Air Force
Continuing with the commemoration in 2020, of 100 Year Anniversary of the Venezuela Air Force.
This is my recently built Venezuelan CF-5A Freedom Fighter. The F-5 aircraft operated in the Venezuela Air Force (FAV) from the beginning of the seventies until the year 2014, when they were taken out service. The first airplanes were bought to Canada, and for that reason the initial ID nomination "CF".
This CF-5A, serial # 9124 was one of the first to arrive in Venezuela; it retained for some time its original camouflage of the Canadian Air Force. Later all Venezuelan F-5 were painted with the three color camouflage (dark green, medium green, and sand).

I used Kinetic model F-5A Freedom Fighter, in 1/48 scale; which I consider very good kit, with a lot of excellent details.
Acrylic paint from Model Master (Testor) was applied; it has some “scratch build” details; all decals are custom, homemade.
