A very nice kit all around with good fit and details however the canopy section was a bit troublesome requiring a lot of care consideration since there are multiple parts which have to fit each other as well as the fuselage. These being clear parts you could imagine the associated trouble if something slightly goes wrong for it will and yep, it did.

Painting began with Gunze 1500 black primer followed by Tamiya Xf2 flat white + 10% Tamiya flat base for highlights and gradients built slowly and panel by with the help of post-it notes and masks. (last 2 photos attached are from this wip stage)

RLM colors were mixed and matched with Gunze and Tamiya but there were no fading or post shading at all; everything visible was achieved with the initial black and white technique actually.

Decals were as thick as my granny's bedsheets made outta concrete went somehow ok over Tamiya gloss clear, when soaked with a bucket of Micro Sol and Set that is. Oil paints were used for pinwashes streaks and stains, pigments for dust and grime were applied afterwards.

Vallejo's flat and gloss (8:2 ratio respectively) clears were mixed and shot wet followed by watercolor pencil chipping here and there and some more pigments topped it all off.
