The MIG-25 is a beast of an aeroplane, and its a pretty huge model in 1:48th! The kit goes together with hardly any problems, despite it's complicated looking assembly.

I built it from the box, only adding a pilot figure from Aerobonus.

The pilot is cast integrally with the ejector seat and is a very fine piece of casting.

The model was painted using Humbrol enamels. The model was pre-shaded with dark grey which was used to marble the whole airframe before I sprayed the light grey over the top.

Weathering was done with washes of Raw Umber oil paint, and highlighting panel centres with lighter greys.

Decals are the kit's own ones. They go on perfectly and settle down over the panel lines using Humbrol's Clear acrylic as a setting solution.
