This is the Kitty Hawk Su22 M3/4 Fitter. I built this for my neighbor and good friend who flew the Fitter when he served in the Peruvian Air Force. Decals are custom made with Power Point and printed on decal paper with a laser printer.

The base is scratch built using foam board with wall spackle and Tamiya Diorama Texture Paint. The base color was airbrushed with Model Master acrylic Concrete and Aged Concrete. Aftermarket accessories include: Eduard Zoom cockpit, Aires Soviet Naval AF Pilot helmet, Master Model Su-22 brass pitot tubes, HAD fire extinguishers/ oil pan/ordinance flag, Ammo of Mig Stony Steepe vegetation, Reskit resin wheels, SAC metal landing gear, Brassin missiles, Quickboost exhaust and air intake covers, Brengun Models Soviet modern wheel chocks, Armory Models tow bar, Elementy boarding ladder, and Advanced Modeling bomb tow cart.

I painted the model with Tamiya acrylics and Alaclad II metalizers. Weathering was done with pastel chalks and Tamiya panel line wash.

This kit has excellent details. The rivets and recessed panel lines add to the model. Also, the ejection seat is on par with aftermarket seats in my opinion. My only complaints are the week landing gear and the over engineered three piece fuselage. The mid to rear fuselage fit is horrendous. I managed a decent fit with some Evergreen strips and CA glue. You get plenty of ordinance with the kit. I want to thank Sophia Lynm with Kitty Hawk for helping with purchasing additional wing pylons for my loadout. This was a fun build and my friend enjoyed the custom made diorama!
