I built these two models to go along with a CF-18 Hornet I recently finished. The first CT-133 (all black) is the not too old Academy mold. Very simple build that looks very good when finished. The decals are from the early 90s , Arrow Graphics. The decals come with two copies of the Maple leaf for the bottom. The real reason is for mistakes expected while making it fit with the wheels down. Seeing as I was going wheels up that was not an issue. But the red decal did not have great coverage over the completely black model. So the second maple leaf came in rather handy. Everything else was just touched up for better visibility with red paint.

The second CT-133 (black and silver) is the really old Testors kit from the 60s. This kit while old and a horrible cockpit looks from the outside excellent. Even has the tiny exhausts that the Canadian birds have over the avionics bay. Its decals are from Leading Edge. Being a 20 year younger sheet the printing is much better over the black paint.

The base was made by my sister. I told her I would make use of it. I think this works.
