Hello there, here I present you another old Airfix kit. Once a gift from my young sister, I decided to build this kit again.

The fast Russian MiG-21(F) appeared in the Vietnam war, gun armed, missile capable was feared among US pilots.

The North-Vietnamese pilot(s) had the advantage by operating over their own territory. The MiG-21(F) hit and run interceptions scored some victories on the many incoming US planes carrying heavy loadouts, and could return for refill easily. This one is painted in just a random jungle VC-camouflage.

The build was kept to very easy. Paint I used was Testor metalizer chrome over gloss black. After a week it was still soft and sticky.

Future Johnson cured the process. One reminder, don’t put the IFF tail-antenna backward like I did.
Happy Modelling !
