What If Tigermeet

This is my first helichopta build and I've always love the aggressive lines of the Hind; as well as those funky tigermeet colour schemes - so why not combine the two (?) !!! There has been Czech representation at the NATO event with a 24 but it was.....eerrrrmmmm...... underwhelming, less than impressive and provided the inspiration for this - which I hope is somewhat more striking.

It has some Eduard goodies and a bit of scratch also using extra bits and bobs from the spares box for the troop cabin and engine bay which were enhanced in line with the principles of Gizmology (I made it up as I went along)

The finish started with flat black all over, followed by the masking of the stripes (hours and hours of trimming Tamiya tape), then the light grey underside and three shades of orange (all freehand). Used a mix of the kit decals before pastels, oil washes, Tamiya smoke and silver pencil for weathering.

Have included some in progress shots.....thanks for looking.
