The model that I am going to introduce is a SAAB J-29E / F Tunnan, one of AZ
Model, scale 1/48.
The
recessed panel lines are maybe too fine. There are various nicely done resin parts
including the interior, wheels, exhaust, air intake complete, and even a piece of paper in photo etching control panel and other small parts for the cockpit.

Unfortunately the two half fuselages
do have fit issues with the wings, so I have to say the assembly is not for beginners, and it
requires a fair amount of filling to get everything to look good.
After having
filled all over and sanded, I gave the first coat of Aluminium Metalizer from Model-Master, and polished after I gave a second hand, and polished
again. I prepared the model for the decals with light coats of clear varnish
to give a smooth gloss finish.
After letting the
decals dry, helped along with the application with the decal softening from Gunze, I
ran a wash with gouache dark gray, and again applied the clear gloss, I applied in various areas
the matte varnish.
After you have finished editing the carts and the last parts of the kit, I can say that the model does not exceed in beauty, but it remains a very workable kit of a subject that you see very little around.
