Here is a old Classic Airfrmes CF-116D (F-5B) Freedom Fighter. This is not the easiest kit out there. Very nice resin, in fact real nice resin. But the plastic is another story. First time I built this it turned out less then wonderful. In fact it was stripped down, re puttied and repainted into CF-116D #5.

This time however and with a bit more experience it turned into something.....well, not awful. The decals used for this one are Belcher Bits. Yes there is a newer kit out there and it builds into a much nicer kit, but I refuse to leave a kit in the stash just because a better option is out there.

The paint scheme represents a very early "grape scheme" Canadian aggressor out of CFB Cold Lake Alberta with 419 squadron.
