This is a really old model of the Starship Enterprise I picked up at a show a while back. It was built for the simple times GB on ARC, redo one of your first models.

For me I was re-doing a Enterprise I built as a kid, and painted dark blue as that was the paint I found in the garage. This time I painted it a little closer to how it appears on TV. The model as you can see comes with "cut-away" parts. I used most of them but decided to attach the port warp engine to the hull as I did not see a way to have it hanging in air with the supports I was using.

The hull is held up using a cut coat hanger drilled into the hull and painted silver. The decals are after market. Just can not remember who made them, they seemed to large at first but certainly look the part when on the model. Much better then the kit decals which were completely yellowed curled up and cracked.

It looks pretty good, much better then I thought it would when I started it.
