When Revell released their 1/32 Ju 88A-1, a generous friend in Germany sent me a copy of the kit.  I was more interested in building the Ju 88A-4 version and was happy to learn that L'Arsenal of France had released a multimedia conversion kit.  I bought the conversion from L'Arsenal's USA agent and construction began.  Both the Revell kit and the L'Arsenal parts were very good and everything fit together perfectly.

The conversion set has everything needed to make the Ju 88A-4 from the Revell kit, including decals for three aircraft.  I was more interested in a North Africa color scheme with the RLM 79 and RLM 80 camouflage on the topsides.  L'Arsenal didn't include anything like that in their options, but Kagero came to my rescue with decals from their "Top Drawings" book on the Ju 88A.

In addition to the L'Arsenal conversion and Kagero decals, I used a set of Eduard seat belts in the cockpit.  This was one of the most pleasant modelling projects I've done in a very long time and I'm quite pleased with the results.  I'm planning on acquiring another Ju 88 kit in the future, as I have an AIMS Ju 88G-6 nightfighter conversion set just screaming "Build me!"
