I like the texture of burned spacecraft.
The heatshields sometimes look like abstract paintings. These fantasy models were made from Revell kits:
The heatshields are painted with Humbrol 110 natural wood and then the centre is painted matt black. Outwards more and more resolvent is added, not too much and not to little. But when someone has a better method I like to read it
