What if ARC Air would sponsor a Republic Thunderbolt for the Reno Air Races?

The 1:72 Academy kit is a very good.  I used Humbrol paints, for this one no 48 midblue (gloss) and 15 dark blue and yellow and orange.  

A spinner was added and old rub off letters and decals from previous planes
