This Huey was built OOB and finished using Model Master Olive Drab.  The upper pilot's windows were tinted using Tamiya Clear Green.  Decals straight from the the box were thin and went on very well.  Markings were also included to construct an Australian and a German version.  These markings used designate this Huey as a member of the 7th Air Cav. (Gary Owen) which saw extensive action during the Vietnam War.  The one concern that I would pass on in building this kit would be to point out some inaccuracies in the painting guide.  Research your colors well as there are a few mistakes in suggesting color choices within the directions.

The base was custom made using a picture frame and some Woodland Scenics type landscaping materials combined with a mix of Elmer's white glue to hold it all together.

All rotor bands and warning markings were painted on for a more realistic look.  Future was also used to provide a more glass-like look to the clear parts and to enhance the look of all of the navigation lights throughout the model.
