Building of this model became a long story. It took approximately 1 year to build it straight out-of-box. It was repainted three times due to structural damages caused by “test flights from the shelf”. I didn’t use any of aftermarket set’s because at the time I started it I didn’t know anything about resins and PE. Anyway I think this kit is good enough without any additions. As a prototype I chose aircraft from 366th WG, famous 391st FS “Bold Tigers”. Building didn’t give me anything except pleasure, everything is fit, so I used minimum of putty, mostly on wing-to-body fairing. Basic painting was done by Tamiya aerosol decanted into airbrush, small post shading was done using Tamiya acrylics.

Decals from kit had really good quality, I used also some tech stencils from other kits which I have. The armament has almost standard configuration, except GBU-10, which I added onto CFT pylons. And of course GBU-28 “Bunker Buster”, just like the kit name.

Finally I’d like to thank www.scalemodels.ru and all my buddies there. Hope I will build this kit couple of times more, because I really liked it.
