André Pacheco de Moraes  joins us today with his first article on ARC.  This is the 1/144 Revell C-130 Hercules that André reworked to transform it into an accurate Brazilian Air ForceC-130 from the 1960's.  It is finished with his custom made decals.  Welcome to ARC André and I hope to see many more of your models on ARC in the future.  I love the look of this Herc.

Burt Gustafson has hit a homerun with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-16I (Sufa).  Burt made his Israeli Sufa OOB with the addition of all the critical little modelling techniques that make a model come to life.  This one is a beauty and I know you're going to love seeing the photo of it.

Mooncake Liu dropped by the ARC Corporate offices in China with this beautifully finished 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk Vb.  Mooncake was impressed with the quality of the Tamiya kit and as you can see in the photos, this kit does build into a fantastic looking Spitfire model.  It's good to see more modellers from China joining ARC.

Burcin Emren has done a fabulous job building, finishing and weathering t his 1/48 Revell F-18F Super Hornet.  This F-18 is displayed as an in-flight model to catch the true beauty of this stunning aircraft in the air with a full bomb load.  This Hornet looks excellent.

Benner is here with his exceptionally well done 1/48 Hasegawa CF-188A Hornet.  Benner added a full weapons load and flawless weathering to complete his Hornet as it appeared during the Gulf War.

Michael Presley has put plenty of effort into his 1/48 Modela Let Blanik L-13.  Michael dropped the control surfaces and adjusted the rudder before adding photo etch to the cockpit to add further detail to this fine looking glider.

  Gambia Independence Day

Jorge Bonilla joins us from sunny Monterrey, N.L. Mèxico with his "what-if" 1/48 Tamiya Me-262 in desert camo.  I'm a big fan of the 262 as well as desert camo, so this particular model has me grinning.  Jorge used home made decals to complete his 262.

Warren Osborne has been busy improving the 1/48 Revell HS123A.  Warren scratch built a new cockpit and rescribed a few panel lines to breathe life into his HS123A.  Warren then finished it in silver wiht spansih Air Force markings.  A very well done model of one of the last bi-planes.

Nazarov Vladimir is here from St.-Petersburg, Russia with his beautiful 1/48 Hasegawa F-104C.  His Starfighter was finished in USAF markings and SEA camo.

Niezam Y has done a wonderful job on this 1/48 Tamiya P-51D Mustang.  Niezam gave this P-51 a baremetal finish with partial D-Day stripes and some carefully applied weathering to capture the classic of this classic American fighter.

Paolo De Sanctis joins us today with something very special.  This is his 1/72 Revell P.39Q Airacobra finished in the markings of a P.39 that flew along side the Allies in the Italian Co-Belligerent AF (Regia Aeronautica).  I think most people are unaware that the P-39 was flown by the Italians during the later stages of WW2.  It's good to see a model of one.

Shawn "Phantom" Weiler has done a great job building and finishing his 1/48 Hasegawa F-18E.  Shawn has a talent for building modern jets and you'll enjoy seeing his latest USN F/A-18 complete with full weathering.

Wally Civitico has fufilled a task that began long long ago.  This is his 1/72 Hasegawa Neptune Conversion complete with custom mods and home made decals to create this record breaking post war aircraft.  I think it is safe to say this is probably the only model of this particular aircraft on the planet.....but I could be wrong.

Alan Williamson had some serious challenges getting the paint and decals just right on his Korean War 1/48 Hasegawa F-86F Sabre.  Alan stripped the paint off his Sabre more than once but in the end he was rewarded with a great looking F-86.  He also tells the story in great detail of one of the greatest dogfights to come out of the Korean War.

I have a product article for the new 1/48 Ki61-I Hien Gun Barrels and Pitot Tube from QuickBoost.

  Lithuania National Day

Here's the latest Hot Babe of the Week! photos from Twobobs is courtesy of Grant Little. You guys know Grant as "Trigger" on ARC. He sent Bob these a while back and these markings as well as the EA-18G Growler CAG jet from VAQ-132 are the subject for this week. Thanks Trigger!

Max Bianchi has done an exceptional amount of scratchbuilt detailing on his 1/48 Revell Sea Venom.  Max reworked the engine bay and cockpit, the gun bay radar and flaps are scratchbuilt.  The level of detail is a work of art.

Panagiotis Koubetsos is here with his desert camo 1/48 Hasegawa Ju-87 in a diorama setting as it would have appeared during WW2.  Panagiotis did extra detailing on his Stuka and then put much effort into all the small details that bring a diorama to life.  Thankfully he has provided plenty of photos for you to enjoy.

Artur Oslizlo did a beautiful job building and finishing his 1/48 Hasegawa A-7E Corsair II.  Artur added the Aires resin cockpit and wheel bays to further detail his Corsair II, but the real beauty is the carefully shaded and weathered paint job on this USN jet.  And finally.......there's dragon tailart...how cool is that!!!

Hỏa Long has put much energy into creating this 1/72 Italeri VNAF VIP C-47.  The baremetal finish is fantastic looking and the markings for this presidential plane are homemade.  This model captures one of the important and often forgotten aircraft from this time period in Vietnam's history.  Very nicely done indeed.

Serbia National Day (Dan Drzavnosti Srbije)

This weeks Twobobs Newsletter is up.  The 1/48 T-2 Buckeye kits are selling very well and stocks are getting lower and lower each day.  I'm glad I got mine when I did.  Bob also has some instruction sheets in the newsletter of some kickin' decal sheet with wild camo and even some decal sheets of the F-100C Skyblazers in all their red/white and blue glory.  If you haven't seen these they are well worth checking out.

Burt Gustafson has put quite a bit of effort into his sharp looking 1/48 Tamiya Brewster B-399 Buffalo. Burt finished his Buffalo with noseart in the colours of a RNZAF defending Singapore in late 1941.  Burt also includes a full history of the Buffalo in his article.

Sertac Bayar joins us today with a very colourful Tigermeet 1/144 Revell Tornado ECR.  This is a Luftwaffe Tornado complete with a tarmac diorama base and Tiger shoulder patches.  I've always loved Tigermeet jets and this one looks great.

Armin Knes has done 150 hours of work to create his 1/48 KoPro Sukhoi Su-9.  Armin took the KoPro Su-7 BKL fuselage and built his Su-9 from there.  This would be a difficult job for most people , but Armin is a master modeller when it comes to creating a model when a  kit doesn't exist.  I'm impressed with how well it turned out.

Rafi Ben-Shahar has done an exceptionally nice job finishing and weathering his 1/48 Eduard Fock wulf Fw 190F-8.  There's actually 2 models in Rafi's article, both of the same plane (Eduard and Dragon kits).  Rafi has always been a modeller I've admired and when you see the high quality of these 190's models.....you'll know why.
