Steve Eggers starts this Halloween update with his 1/48 Lindberg XF-88 Voodoo.   For some reason beginning with a plane called the Voodoo seemed to make sense today.  Steve tells the history of this post-war jet along with the process needed to build this older kit into such a fine looking model.


Edward A. Fuquay joins us with Part 4 of his 1/32 Trumpeter F4F-4 Wildcat.   Today Ed shows the finished model....Ed did some weathering and panel line shading.


Daniel has completed his big  1/32 Tamiya F-15E.  Daniel did a great job on the finish on his Eagle and gave it a very complete weapons load.  


AEX dropped by the ARC Corporate offices on the Canary Islands, Spain with his 1/72 Testor Skyraider.  This is an older kit, but AEX turned it into a  jewel of a model.  


Fernan De Gannes put quite a bit of effort with aftermarket parts and scratchbuilding and good old fashioned modeling skills to create his 1/48 Academy Mig-29.  The finished model was well worth his effort.   


Stefan Woltmann has done a stellar job on his 1/48 Tamiya Focke-Wulf 190 D-9.  Stefan finished his Dora in the markings for "Jv 44" "Papageien Staffel".  Very nice indeed.

Peter Valica starts your week with photos from the Grand Prix Castrum Novum Cup 2006 contest.  This show had quite the pleasing variety of models. 


Alex Bigey has dropped by with his 1/144 Armstrong Whitworth AW.27 Ensign I.  This is  a vac-u-formed kit, but that didn't stop Alex from getting her done and turning out a great looking model of this mammoth aircraft.


Alberto Borzellino has been busy building and weathering his 1/48 Hasegawa Phantom.  Alberto did a conversion to create this Phantom including a resin nose, cockpit and nozzles.  The end result is "phantastic". 


Aaron Hughes has complete his conversion to create his 1/72 Italeri Sea Harrier.  This is Aaron's first conversion and it turned out very well. 


Fabrice Fanton has also been busy building his converted 1/48 Republic TP-47G "Thunderbolt".  This is the rare 2 seater P-47 and Fabrice tells about the project to create this beauty in his article.  


Karel Slama is here with his very well done 1/48 Academy F-16C Block 32.  Karel found the Academy F16 to be a every nice kit and tells about it in his article.


Floyd S. Werner, Jr.  is here with a review of the Gun Camera Film/The Earthquakers DVD from Victory Films.  Floyd goes into very good detail about this DVD.


Keith Diamond is here with a review of the 1/48 F-16CJ Block 50 Shaw Shooters decal sheet from Afterburner Decals.  This sheets features the  20th FW, 55th FS "Shooters".

Ozkan Turker, Ahmet Donmez, Tolga Ulgur are here from Turkey with their collection of 1/48 Turkish F-84's.  This is quite the big comprehensive article full of beautifully done F-84's.   


Tolga Ulgur has done an outstanding job building his out of the box 1/48 Tamiya P-47 D30 Thunderbolt.  The multi-shade baremetal finish looks excellent and you'll love seeing the detailed cockpit photos. 


Ercan Karakas has dropped by with his 1/48 Hasegawa TF-104G.  Ercan added cockpit detailing and finished this beauty off with a  we done paint job.  


Özkan Türker is here with his 1/72 Azur Vultee V-11GBT.   Özkan includes the background history on this specila little plane in his article.


Rahmi Kocaman has been busy building his 1/48 Revell F-102A.  The finished model came out looking great with just a delicate amount of weathering.  


Melih Yararcan is here with his very tiny 1/144 Revell Puma.  I could not imagine decaling a tiny Tigermeet aircraft like this and have it turn out looking so well.  


Zafer Yilmaz is here from Turkey with his sharp looking 1/72 Zvezda Su-47 Berkut.  Zafer tell the history of this very rare and unique state of the art Russian fighter.  


H.Ufuk Aydiner has dropped by on this special day with his award winning 1/32 Hasegawa FW-109Aa3.   H.Ufuk did extra work to convert his Fw-190 into a proper Turkish version.


Ercan Karakas has done a very fine job on his 1/48 English Electric Lightning.  This beautiful looking model was inspired by an aircraft on display in Hendon.  


Rahmi Kocaman has done an outstanding job finishing and weathering his 1/32 Hasegawa Fw-190D-9.  


Melih Yararcan joins us with his tiny 1/144 Revell TF-104 G.  This special little model was finished in Luftwaffe markings.  


Rahmi Kocaman has been busy building and getting the paint job perfect on his 1/48 Revell Bf-110 G-2.   


H.Ufuk Aydiner is here today with his 1/24 Trumpeter Bf-109 G-6 Late.  This amazing model had all it's markings painted on.  


Rahmi Kocaman joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-104G.  This beauty was finished in Turkish markings.  


Melih Yararcan is also here today with his 1/72 Airfix Shorts Tucano.  Melih finished this beauty in an in-flight display .

  Greece National Day   

Charles P. Kalina honours the Czech Republic and ARC with his Fifth-Annual 1/72 Scale Tribute.  Each year I eagerly await to see what Charles comes up with on this special day and he has never disappointed me.  


Jaroslav Hajecek has left me in awe with his 1/32 L159B Albatross II.  This custom model features a a fiberglass body with a bag full of resin detail items.  I tip my hat to Jaroslav for completing this kit into such an impressive model.


Jan Jezl is here with his first model on ARC today.  This is his 1/48 MPM JAS 39C Gripen.  This models shows why I feel Czech modellers are a pretty special bunch of modellers.  He took this very difficult project and turned it into a shining diamond.  


Jaroslav Hajecek is here on this special day with his 1/48 ESCI MiG-23MF Hell Fighter.   Jaroslav has taken an older kit and done some magic to it......rescribed paenl lines....cockpit from another model kit and a darn eye catching paint scheme to finish this gem off.


Jan Jezl is here with his award winning and superdetailed 1/72 Tamiya Supermarine Spitfire Mk. Vb.  This aircraft was flown during WW2 by a Czech pilot and I am left deeply impressed by the quality of this model.  And it built in the smaller 1/72 scale.  


Radim Schimmer has dropped by the ARC Czech Corporate offices with some photos he took at the recent ModellBrno Contest.   You guessed it....there's plenty of sharp looking Czech models in these photos.

Larry G Johnson is here to give you a look at his 1/48 Academy F4U-1 Corsair USAAC in a "What if" paint scheme.  This scheme on a Corsair really plays with the mind.  Larry talks in his article about the differences between the Academy and Tamiya kit. 


Sam Chia has been busy building a very sharp looking 1/48 Monogram RF101C.  Sam rescribed the panel lines and used a conversion set to create his model.  He then finished it off with some very effective weathering. 


Louis Chang has done a fine job building and weathering his 1/72 Hasegawa Avro Lancaster.  This Lancaster is a treat to see.  


Gareth Phua joins us with his very nicely done 1/48 Tamiya Gloster Meteor F.3.  Gareth used a PE set in the cockpit and chipped the paint in certain areas on the airframe and finished everything off with a  realistic looking display base.  He explains the making on the model and display base in his article.   


Angel Mesa has dropped by today with his great looking 1/72 MPM. Douglas DC-2 that was flown by  Capitan Vara del Rey.  This special plane has quite the story behind it as you'll see in angel's article. 


Terry Chan is here with his big beautiful 1/32 Academy F-18B Hornet.  Terry goes into great detail in his article about building his Hornet (which wasn't without some challenge) but he did get her done and he is rightly proud of it,

A couple of days ago I had a review of the 1/48 Ju-52 Ski Version Conversion Set by Master X from UMM-USA.  Sadly I had the URL wrong in the review.....it should have been http://www.umm-usa.com   


Shawn Phantom Weiler is here with the 14th and almost final part in his Phantom series.  Today Shawn has brought us his USN/USMCPhantoms.


Rafael Colindres has been busy adding details to his very sharp looking 1/72 Italeri F51-D Mustang FAS.  Rafael added scratchbuilt details and finished his Mustang in Salvadoran Air Force (FAS) markings.  


Tigre del Aire jons us from Columbia with his 1/72 Heller F-86.  This is a model of John Glenn´s MiG Mad Marine that served in the flew in the Korean War.   


Rodney Williams is here with some photos of his 1/32 Revell F4U-1A Crashed F2-G.  Rodney is one very serious modeller when it comes to getting all the details correct. 


Zafer Yilmaz has put quite a bit of effort into his sharp looking 1/72 Revell MiG-29.  Zafer finished his MiG-29 in Indian markings.  


Carmel John Attard is here from Malta with his selection of 1/72 Sea Gladiators and a Wlarus.  These are delicate looking aircraft with all the rigging and Carmel got them looking just right.  


Lyle Brown is here with his latest artwork.  This is his Mirage 2000D artwork that he calls Matra's Magic Touch'.  


I have a review of the  1/32 resin Rafael Python 4/5 Air to Air Missiles from Isracast - Isradecals.  These come with little tiny clear seeker heads with  reflective backings for the nose of the missiles. 


Yoav Efrati is here with a review of the  1/48 & 1/72 'IAF First Fighters' decal sheet from Sky Decals.  These sheets have quite the variety of the earlier aircraft flown during the early years of the Israeli Air Force.

Shawn Phantom Weiler fires up today's update with part 13 of his Phantoms series.  Today Shawn shares a variety of his F-4's....some colourful and of course one is a Jolly Rogers jet.   


Rian W. Jones has been busy building and detailing his fine looking 1/48 Eduard Polikarpov I-16 Type 10.  Rian provides some history behind this aircraft and it's role in the Great Patriotic War.  Nice to see this little fighter. 


Vince Lucente joins us with his very well done 1/48 Monogram ProModeller F-15E Strike Eagle.  Vince  has taken this first class kit and built a perfect representation of this front line fighter bomber.


Pete L'Heureux has been busy building his out of the box 1/72 Tamiya Mosquito FB Mk VI.   Pete's beautifully done Mosquito clearly shows the lovely lines of this eye appealing aircraft.  


Zafer Yilmaz stopped by the Turkish ARC Corporate offices with his 1/72 Revell Tornado.  I'm a big fan of tiger Meet aircraft and was pleased to see this one when Zafer sent it in.  I give him full credit for sticking with it considering this kit has 116 decals.  Very nice indeed.   


Laurent Boildieu has done a wonderful job weathering his 1/48 Hasegawa Spitfire Mk VIII.  Laurent provides some background on the Ace pilot that flew this plane.   


Jay Laverty is here with a product announcement about the new 1/48 - Resin Wellington weighted wheels for the Trumpeter kit from MasterCasters

Shawn Phantom Weiler is here with more Phantoms USAF.  This is part 12 in his Phantom series.  I think it's fair to say Shawn has a certain fascination with the F-4 Phantom.  


Thierry Jacques has done a fine job building and weathering his 1/72 Hobby BossGrumman G36AThis special little fighter was tested by the French Navy in 1940.   


Tim Groombridge is here with his great looking 1/72 Matchbox Saab J29-F Tunnan.  You've got to check out the rivet detail on this one and read how Tim did it....very simple and effective.   


Eduardo Arguijo has been busy adding details to his very sharp looking  1/48 Monogram P-61 Black Widow.  Eduardo did quite a bit of work on this one.  


Pierpaolo Maglio joins us with his beautifully built 1/72 Hasegawa Draken.  This special aircraft is finished ina  retirement paint scheme.  


Kai Peters joins us from Germany with his 1/48 Mustang Collection Pt 2.   Today Kai presents 3 excellent looking Mustangs from his collection.

Today is the first day of of Fitr feast after the fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan.  It is a time for family and friends to gather together to enjoy a special meal.  I'd like to wish all Muslim ARC'ers a very happy time with friends and family today.

Shawn Phantom Weiler starts your week with Part 11 of his Phantom series.  Today Shawn presents his his USAF Phantoms.  


Rafi Ben-Shahar joins us with his 1/48 High Altitude Spitfires.  Rafi presents 2 of the best examples of the 1/48 Spitfire and Rafi does them up right.  


Hellobi is here with a HUGE 1/48 Hyper Z Gundam resin kit.  This model stands .5 meters (1.5 feet) tall and includes 500 parts.  This is quite the project and turned into an amazing model.   


Tom Kellogg joins us with his 1/32 Revell P-51D.  This is the "clear" plastic Mustang from long ago.  Tom tells in his article how he revisited this kit after a earlier attempt.  Tom built a beautiful Mustang. 


Fernan De Gannes has done an exceptionally nice job building and weathering his 1/48 Hasegawa F-18D.  Fernan added extra details including decals from Twobobs  plus well done weathering to complete his Hornet.


Edward Fuquay joins us with his 1/48 AMtech P-40E in my favourite paint scheme....sharks Mouth.  Ed tells about building this kit and what he did to get the P-40 model he wanted.  The Chinese saw a Tigers mouth (Animal from Chinese Zodiac).....the Japanese are island people saw the much feared sharks mouth. 


Ken Middleton is here with a review of the  1/48 Aggressor Vipers decal sheet from Afterburner Decals.  This decal sheet features 15 different F-16's....yes....15!!!

Eric Bade has dropped by with his outstanding 1/72 Hasegawa Mc Donnell Douglas QF-4N Phantom II.  Eric really brought this model to life.

Calum Gibson has dropped by with a beautifully done 1/48 Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon IIB.   Calum had a very large disaster when building this model but he stuck it out and completed it in the ever attractive Kiwi markings.


Alan Purusram has been busy getting the details right on his 1/32 Academy F/A-18C Hornet.  Alan added the Cutting Edge resin cockpit and ejection seat and aftermarket decalsto improve upon the kit detail. 


Yufei Mao is on a roll with his 1/144 models.  I am deeply impressed with the quality of Yufei's 1/144 models.  Today he brings us his 1/144 A6M2b Zero with Deck.  You'll love how the models and carrier deck turned out.   


Daniel has done an outstanding job building and detailing his 1/32 Trumpeter A-7E Corsair IIWow....Daniel did a fair amount of extra work on his A-7. 


Gabriel Stern joins us with another of his wacky aircraft.  I love these things!!  Today it is his 1/72 Scratchbuilt Bleriot VI.

Arie (Lion) Cohen joins us with his 1/24 Trumpeter Zero Floatplane.  Arie posed this sharp looking floatplane on one of his local beaches and as winter closes in.....I sure do wished I lived there.


Olivier Pinsolle  is here with part 3 of his 1/32 Academy + scratch F-16 MLU ( DUTCH ).  Today Olivier finishes the bomb load as well as other weapons and displays his F-16 on the custom made base.  Quite the sight. 


Louis Chang has dropped by with the third and final part of his 1/48 Hasegawa F6F-3 series.  Today you get to see the finished model complete with weathering.

Shawn Phantom Weiler is here with part 8 of his Phantom series.  This part is called  Never-ending Phantoms and includes quite the selection of international Phantoms.


Nicolás Hakime Fernández joins us with his very well done 1/72 Matchbox Dornier Do-18V-17.   Always good to see some seaplanes on ARC.  


Olivier Pinsolle is here with part 2 of his series on building his 1/32 Academy + scratch F-16 MLU ( DUTCH ).  Today Olivier details the landing gear bays and applies the panel line wash and decals. 


Louis Chang joins us today with part 2 of his series of articles about building his 1/48 Hasegawa F6F-3.  Louis adds scratchbuilt details to the cockpit and airbrushes the national insignia. 


Fausto Muto has done an outstanding job detailing and weathering his 1/48 Italeri JAS Gripen.  This beautiful jet includes a detailed cockpit and pre-shading and more for the weathering......with very satisfying results.   


Yasushi Saito joins us from Japan with a very nicely done 1/48 Tamiya Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden (Jack).  Yasushi scribed the panel lines and did a fine job getting this Raiden looking beautiful.

Pierre Christian Baudru has done a fine job on his 1/72 Revell Douglas DC-3.   Pierre converted his very nice DC-3 to a  Swissair version.  He tells about the process in his article.


Olivier Pinsolle is here with part 1 of his 3 part series on building the 1/32 Academy + scratch F-16 MLU.  Olivier chose to detail and finish his F-16 as a Dutch Viper and his article will explain some of the modifications needed to build the Dutch F-16 MLU.


Louis Chang is here with part 1 of his 1/48 Hasegawa F6F-3Today Louis will work on the engine and gear bays.......you'll enjoy seeing the scratch built work he did. 


David Weeks is here with his US Nationals award winning scratchbuilt  1/48 Mercury Atlas.  Wow a pile of work went into building this masterpiece.  


Graham Howe joins us today with he very nicely done 1/32 Revell Me109 G-4 Trop.  Graham dressed up the cockpit with added details and chose the attractive desert camo scheme for his 109.

Steve Platt stopped by the Australian ARC Corporate offices with his  1/72 Airfix C-130 Hercules.  It's always good to see models with a 'roo' on the side.  Nice one Steve.

Tim Groombridge starts your Sunday update with his 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk.Ia.  Tim has high praise for the fit of this kit and he went on to build a very fine Spitfire. 


Rafi Ben-Shahar has been busy scratch building conversion parts to create his 1/48 Focke Wulf Fw 190A-5/U14.  This is the Torpedo version of the Fw-190 and Rafi did it up perfectly.

C.H Chong had a good time building and finishing his 1/32 Tamiya F-15C.  C.H. added RBF tags and built a base among other detailling on his F-15 to create a very fine looking model of this jet.

Mark L. Rossmann built his finely crafted 1/48 Hasegawa FW190 A8/R8 out ofn the box.  Mark includes some history about this type of Fw-190 in his article.   


Manuel Negri is here with a very sharp looking 1/48 Hasegawa F-104G.   Manuel did a very special job tinting the paint to get a slightly faded weathered look and created a display base to display his wonderful F-104.


Drakendk has dropped by today with his nicely done 1/72 Broplan Saab T-17.  This aircraft is a Danish trainer and Drakendk did a very nice job on it and built a base to display it on.   


Marcelo Paiva, 'MASP' has been busy building his 1/48 ESCI Dassault Mirage IIIEBR.  This special little Mirage is finished in Brazilian Air Froce markings and is even painted in the exact same paint used on the full sized aircraft.  Marcelo did extra detaillin gon his Mirage to improve things.   


Thomas Neuss has been busy adding details to his very sharp looking 1/35 Trumpeter Chinook HC.2.  Thomas added quite the detail to his Chinook and finished it off in British markings with a display base.

Shawn Phantom Weiler begins today with his British, Phantom Pt 4.  Shawn has included quite the variety of British Phantoms.  


Yufei Mao has done an outstanding job finishing his 1/144 Sweet Bf-109F-4 Trop.  Yufei choise to finish his tiny 109 in the markings for the Luftwaffe's famous North African Marseille.


Oishi has done an exceptionally nice job building and weathering his 1/32 Trumpeter's A7-D.  Oishi has captured to look of the A-7 perfectly and finished off the detailling quite well.   


Calum Gibson has been busy adding details to his very sharp looking 1/48 Hasegawa P-40N Kittyhawk.  Calum added a resin cockpit and finished his P-40 in RNZAF markings complete with weathering. 


Pete Morgan joins us with his very nicely done 1/72 Revell Hawker Hunter Mk 9.  Pete did some conversion to create his Mk 9 and his efforts paid off in a fine looking Hunter.  


Thierry Jacques has dropped by today with his 1/72 MACH2 Piasecki HUP2 "MULE"This good looking little chopper is finished in French Navy markings complete with a well done display base.

Shawn Phantom Weiler is here with more Phantoms!!!  This is his German, Phantoms Pt3.  Shawn has quite the collection of German F-4's.  


Arie (Lion) Cohen has done an outstanding job building and finishing his 1/24 Airfix Ju-87.   I love how this model turned out....the engine looks excellent.  


Maros Cupka is here with his second article on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Revell F/A 18E Super Hornet  given a very realistic looking weathering.   


Gabriel Stern is back with another of his unique models.  This odd looking Russian aircraft is his Scratchbuilt 1/72 BICh 14.   I've  gotta' admit.....I always get a chuckle when I see Gabriel's latest model.


Alejandro Núńez "Marseille has been working hard building his 1/48 Testor (Hawk) F-104 A/C Starfighter.   Alejandro finished this Starfighter with bare metal foil with very good results.


Steve Negley has been busy adding details to his very sharp looking  1/32 Revell Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC.   Steve has proven what magic can be created with an older kit and some persistence.

Shawn Phantom Weiler is back with part 2 of his F-4 series.  This is his Marine, Phantom Pt.2 article that focuses on the Phantoms flown by the USMC.   


Eric Yang has done an exceptionally nice job building and weathering his  1/48 Hasegawa Macchi C.202.  Eric also did the extra work and created an attractive diorama base for his fighter.


Tong+71 Thailand has been busy building a very sharp looking 1/48 Hasegawa F-16 ADF RTAF.  This F-16 was converted to the ADF model of the F-16 and then finished with aftermarket decals.  


Kobus Erasmus did a very nice job building his 1/32 Trumpeter P40B in a crash diorama.  Kobus finished things off with some figures.  


Juhwan Lee has put quite a bit of effort building his 1/32 Kangnam F-5E Tiger II.  This was a difficult kit to build, but Juhwan did a beautiful job on it.


Alexandre Studer joins us for the first time on ARC with his sharp looking  1/48 Monogram B-24J Alexandre  finished his bomber in a baremetal finish with noseart decals.  Welcome to ARC Alexandre!!!

Pablo Calcaterra joins us with a very historically interesting article.  This is the story of the Pulqui II - A broken dream complete with Pablo's model of this aircraft.  Kurt Tank (Fw-190 designer) moved to Argentina after the Second War World and this aircraft is the result of his work.   


Bill Lachance is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa F4U-5N Corsair.  This particular Corsair is in the markings of the Air Force of Hondourasand was flown in the infamous 1969 "Soccer War" with El Salvador.  


Tim Groombridge has dropped by today with his 1/48 Tamiya Sea Harrier FRS1.  The Sea Harrier is a classically beautiful and inovative aircraft and Tim captures the look of this aircraft very well.

Vjekoslav Ranec begins the Croatian Independence Day update with his 1/48 Academy MiG-21bis.  Vjekoslav fixed the bigger problems with this kit and then added plenty of aftermarket and scratchbuilt detail to greatly improve the detail on his MiG.   


Mislav Ribar joins us on the Croatian Independence Day with his 1/72 Croatian AF Pilatus PC-9M.  This lovely model is built from a very nice resin kit.  Read Mislav's article for the full story.  


Daniel Van Schepdael is also here for the Croatian Independence Day update with his 1/48 Academy Mig-21.  This is Daniel's first time on ARC and I must say I love the way he accented the panels with lighter paint on his MiG.  Welcome to ARC Daniel!!!

A reminder...F-4DableModels and E-Hobby HQ aided by the Selangor & Federal Territories Plastic Modeling Society (SFTPMS), will be holding a F-14 Retirement Party event on 7 October here in our capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The one-day event will be paying tribute to the best of Naval Aviation and will showcase a large collection of F-14 models and related stuff that tells the story of the F-14, from beginning to end.  There'll also be a USN flight gear display and a round-the-clock video presentation including some footage from Grumman.

Francois Montandon has done a fine job building his 1/48 Nakajima Ki-43 I Oscar.  Francois built his Ki-43 out of the box with aftermarket decals.   


Shawn Phantom Weiler has been busy building his 1/48 Hasegawa F-18's & Grand Pheonix F-3 Demon.  Shawn used Two-Bobs decals on one of the models in his article.  


Ryan Cameron had a challenging  time building his 1/72 Mach 2 TBM-3W AEW Guppy.  Ryan was persistant and completed his Guppy and did quite a nice job on it to boot.   


Jozef Horvath has done a stunning job on his 1/48 OEZ SU-25K.  The artwork and paint scheme on this model are quite eye catching.   


Karl W Branson had a grand time building his impressive looking 1/48 Hasegawa F-4 Phantom FGR Mk2.  Karl build his Phantom mostly out of the box with some additional scratchbuilding in the cockpit to raise the level of detail.

Dario Crisman joins us for the first time on ARC with his sharp looking  1/72 Italeri T-45A Goshawk.  Dario used no aftermarket detail items on his T-45 and instead scratchbuilt the needed details to get his jet looking just right.  Welcome to ARC Dario!!!  


Eric Hargett has done an outstanding job building and weathering his 1/48 Accurate Minatures SB2U-3 Vindicator.  Eric quite enjoyed building this model and gave it the markings for a Midway aircraft.   


Oliver Weston joins us with his  nicely done 1/72 Pioneer Sukhoi SU-21G "Flagon".  Alhtough this isn't a high end kit, Oliver found it to be a very nice kit.  He tells the whole story in his article.   


Yufei Mao has done an amazing job on his 1/144 Sweet A6M2b Zero.  This is another 1/144 model by Yufei and it includes full weathering.  


Gianni Chirico joins us from Sicily with his sharp looking 1/72 Italeri Mirage 2000D.   Gianni added some scratchbuilt details and repositioned the control surfaces on his jet and finished it in French Air Force markings.

Bruno Cywinski has been busy adding details to his very sharp looking 1/32 Hasegawa Me 163 Komet.  Bruno used aftermarket parts as well as scratchbuilding and weathering and aftermarket decals to complete his Me-163.  


Joe Youngerman has done an exceptionally nice job building and weathering his 1/72 Aichi M6A1-K Nanzan.  Joe includes the history behind the interesting little orange aircraft as well as how he weathered it.     


Shawn Phantom Weiler is here with a selection of his colourful 1/48 & 1/72 Hasegawa CF-18's.  Shawn has included 3 Canadian CF-18's as well as an Aussie F-18.  


Adam Smith has done an outstanding job weathering his 1/48 Tamiya P-47 Thunderbolt.  This P-47 was built OOB and it was the weathering where Adam put his main focus.    


John Smalbrugge joins us with his 1/32 Hasegawa/Mini Craft F-86F.   John finished his Sabre in the Golden Hawks Aerobatic Team  colours.  Nice one John.


Louis Chang is here with his 1/72 Revell He-177A5.  This He-177A5 was built mostly out of the box with some scratchbuilding to improve certain details.  Louis finished it in quite the complicated camo scheme.

Paul A. Birkenfeld starts today's update with his eye catching 1/72 Hasegawa MiG-29A.  Paul modified the pilot figure and finished his MiG in the attractive markings and camo scheme for a Cuban jet.   


Mark McClellan has done a fine job building his 1/32 Revell ASK-21 Glider.  This little gem is finished Out-of-the-box in USAF markings.   A fine looking glider if I ever saw one.


Bill Lachance has done an outstanding job building and finishing his 1/48 Hobby Craft FG-1D Corsair.  Bill added photo etch seatbelts and used the markings for the El Salvador Air Force and went with a multi-shade bare metal finish.   


Aloong joins us with his beautifully done 1/32 Tamiya F-4J.  Aloong added a resin seat and some scratchbuilt detailing in the cockpit and finished it off witha  flawless paint job.  Very nice indeed.   


Yufei Mao dropped by today with his 1/144 Sweet F4F-3 "Butch".  This sharpe looking little fighter is finished in the markings for  Edward "Butch" O'Hare.


Busolini Massimo joins us from Italy with his beautifully done 1/48 Hasegawa TF-104G Starfighter.  Busolini did his F-104 in Italian markings and added weathering and drop tanks to complete this beauty.

My younger brother Dave passed away yesterday, he was almost 45.  This was the reason for the lack of updates for a few days last week......his cancer had taken a nasty turn for the worst.  I've included a couple of photos including one of us riding a camel on Cyprus in 1972.
