LuckyModel.com
is sponsoring the prize for a new Group
Build. Unlike
contests......at ARC I like folks to build models.....so a group build is
where you decide on a subject matter and then you get a number of months
to complete the model. Then there'll be some sort of ramdom draw of
the models entered for
a as yet unspecified prize from LuckyModel.com. Go and vote on what theme/subject
matter you like for this Group build, so we can get this ball
rolling. Click
here to pick the aircraft you'd like to build. The
Group Build forum will be deeply involved in these Group Builds.

I just got
back from the Abbotsford Airshow........had a great time and met some very
friendly ARC regulars.....it was a hoot to meet these folks. Blue
Angels and Snowbirds put on a great show as usual. Photoed some
static aircraft.....sort of slim pickings this year...no cockpit photos
due to rain and pilots sitting in the cockpits making picture taking
rather diffucult......saw an F-14 fly for the first time. I got
almost no sleep last night due to the large Singapore update and I'm quite
exhausted.....so I'm heading off to bed. I'll get the updates back
on track for Monday. Thanks everyone.

E-mail Virus warning!!!
|
No
update today. I've been backing up files and reformatting my
computer.....a regular thing I have to do every 3 months for my high
use ARC machine. Minutes after I got the computer up and
running and before I could download the virus detection
program.....my computer became infected by an e-mail worm virus (W32/Klez
virus). If
you have received an e-mail from me in the last 24 hours....just
delete it. This is not a "serious" virus that
deletes data or causes serious problems. I'll be spending a
few hours doing a virus scan and removing this virus from my
computer. My address book is empty....but somehow this e-mail
worm virus was able to send out e-mails. My apologies
everyone.
The
ARC website is NOT
infected....this is strictly an e-mail virus....unrelated to ARC.
