--------------------

This new decal sheet from Wolfpak Decals includes markings for 5 different aircraft including a F-15S, F-22A, F-15K, AC-47D, AC-130U.

  • F-15S Serial # 9216 with the Royal Saudi Air Force.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is RSAF "Mod Eagle" scheme of Dark Grey (FS36176) and Light Grey (FS36251).  The best kit is to use the Revell F-15E.

  • F-22A Serial # 04-082 is the Air National Guard Wing Commander's jet of the 149th FS, 192 FW (Assoc.)  at Langley Air Force base in February of 2008.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is the standard Raptor paint scheme and this is explained in the instruction sheets and how to achieve a convincing paint job.  The only kit in this scale currently is the Italeri kit.

  •  F-15K Serial #02-004 Republic of Korean Air Force (RoKAF) in 2007.  The best kit is to use the Revell F-15E.

  • AC-47D "Spooky 71" Gunship Serial # 43-48770 of the 4th SOS, 14th SOW, based at Nha Trang AFB, Vietnam, February 24, 1969.  A crew member was awarded the Medal of Honor for heroic actions aboard this aircraft during the Vietnam War.  The best kit is to use the Monogram AC-47D.

  • AC-130U Serial # 980514 with 4th Special Operations Squadron of the 16th Special Operations wing at Hurlburt Field in Florida.  The best kit is to use the Italeri AC-130U kit.  The paint scheme is Gunship Grey over Light Grey.

The 7 pages of instructions are clear and include multiple views of each aircraft.  I have not included scans of some of the instruction sheets as they only included text but the text is full of helpful detail for scale modellers including weapons load info, history and painting guidelines for the aircraft as well as the detail areas.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet and 1 insert sheet.

I was quite excited the see markings for a Korean and Saudi F-15 and the other aircraft are equally interesting and sure to be of interest to a wide selection of modellers.
