--------------------

REVI - know for their top quality Aviation Magazine (published bi-monthly) and Publications with very interesting and original researches from Czech Republic bringing on the market their third decal sheet (after Hunter Killer 72001 and 48001 & Japanese Schragemusik 72002 and 48002) - Czechoslovak Liberators in 1/72 scale. This sheet is available under No. 72003. This is a very interesting although unknown subject to many.

Czechoslovak pilots were valuable part of RAF during WW II in various Fighter and Bomber Squadrons. This decal sheet is offering options for 7 aircraft from No. 311 (Czechoslovak) Squadron.

1. Liberator GR Mk.V (BZ751), February 1945

2. Liberator GR Mk.VI (KG870), spring 1945. This aircraft (just like the one above) was equipped with Leigh Light searchlight.

3. B-24J Liberator GR Mk.VI (EV953) - this aircraft carried a name "Kosta" and it was the first Liberator to arrive to Prague (July 1945). The "Czechoslovak" Liberators after that flown several transport sorties between Great Britain and Czechoslovakia.

4. B-24J Liberator GR Mk.VI (KG859) named "Ursula" which was also part of the transport sorties after the end of WW II.

5. Liberator GR Mk.V (BZ786) - this aircraft carried an outboard launch rails and on September 27th 1943 P/O J.R. Irving and crew attacked a German Submarine with their rockets.

6. Liberator GR Mk.V (BZ796) - there is no side profile for this aircraft, but text instruction is sufficient for decal placement.

7. Liberator GR Mk.VI (EV985) - this aircraft carried name "Zuzana" and there is also just a text describing the placement of the decals.

Instructions are printed in English with Czech insert and includes color profiles for first 5 aircraft. All the references (unfortunately all are REVI magazines with Czech Language only but at least with English captions for color profiles and photos), suggested colors (no specific manufacturer) and recommended aftermarket accessory products necessary to build correct kit (Pavla Models).

The decal sheet was designed by Rising Decals, printed in high quality by Tally Ho! and my sample appears in perfect register.

I believe the only distributor of these interesting decals is www.modelimex.com or try to contact REVI directly regarding their magazines and other products at www.revi.cz

Thank you REVI "team" for supplied sample and looking forward to more interesting subjects!

Radek
