"The Big 22" 1/48 F-16CJ & DJ decal sheet

This new decal sheet from Afterburner Decals includes markings for 6 different F-16CJ's and is sized to fit the Tamiya kit.  These are all Block 50 jets. 

The first aircraft is 90-0829 F-16CJ CCIP Block 50 - 22nd FS Commanders jet - February 2007The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on the topside.  The tail has a red stripe near the top of the tail that includes the word "Stingers" with artwork of 2 Bees.  You can paint the red fin flash stripe and apply the "Stingers" text and Bee artwork decal separately or just use the ready made red stripe with the "Stingers" text and Bee artwork included all on the same decal.  There is artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy of a bird of prey in full attack mode with wings flared and talons extended.

The second aircraft is 90-0339 F-16CJ Block 50 - 22nd FS Commanders jet - February 2001The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on the topside.  The tail has a red stripe near the top of the tail that includes the words "the Big 22" and further down on the tail is large artwork of a Bee.  There is artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy of a bird of prey in full attack mode with wings flared and talons extended.  This aircraft has a large number of bombing mission markings.

The third aircraft is 90-0833 F-16CJ CCIP Block 50 -"Have Glass Finish" - March 2007 .  The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on the topside.  The tail has a red stripe near the top of the tail that includes the word "Stingers".  There is artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy of a bird of prey in full attack mode with wings flared and talons extended.

The fourth aircraft is 90-0464 two seater F-16DJ CCIP Block 50 -"Have Glass Finish" - Fall 2006 .  The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on the topside.  The tail has a red stripe near the top of the tail that includes the word "Stingers".  There is artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy of a bird of prey in full attack mode with wings flared and talons extended.

The fifth aircraft is 90-0828 F-16CJ CCIP Block 50 - September 2005.  In 2007 90-0828 was deployed to Balad AB, Iraq in support of OIF.  The jet wears "Have Glass" finish.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on the topside.  The tail has a red stripe near the top of the tail that includes the word "Stingers".  There is artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy of a bird of prey in full attack mode with wings flared and talons extended.

The sixth aircraft is 90-0342 F-16CJ CCIP Block 50 - March 2005The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on the topside.  The tail has a red stripe near the top of the tail that includes the word "Stingers".  There is artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy of a bird of prey in full attack mode with wings flared and talons extended.

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet and in perfect register.  Two complete set of stencils are included on this decal sheet.

A very nice decal sheet with a large selection of markings for the Vipers of "The Big 22".
