markings for three different 1/32 F-100D's in baremetal as well
green/brown camo paint schemes.
The
first aircraft is a F-100D-50-NH flown by Lt Joe Vincent with 31 TFW/309
TFS out of Tuy Hoa, RVN in the spring of 1970. The paint scheme
for this aircraft is FS 30219 Tan and FS 34102 Green and FS 34079 Dark
Green on top and FS 36622 Gray on the underside. The noseart is a
3 leaf clover with the name Colleen in white script on the green
clover. On the top of the tail is cartoon artwork of an attacking
Donald Duck with a lightning bolt in one hand and a plank with a big
nail through it.
The
second aircraft
is a F-100D-26-NA
55-3604 flown by Lt Col Harold Comstock with the 27th TFW/416th TFS out
of Bien Hoa in July of 1966. The
paint scheme for this aircraft is overall bare metal with what appears
to be and FS

This plane spots noseart of a skull wearing a leather flying helmet with
goggles as well as Snoopy artwork and plenty of bomb mission
markings. This aircraft has 2 blue angled arcs on both sides of
the tail.

The
third aircraft is a F-100D-21-NA flown by Major Don Schmenk with
31 TFW/308 TFS out of Tuy Hoa, RVN in late 1969. The paint
scheme for this aircraft is FS 30219 Tan and FS 34102 Green and FS
34079 Dark Green on top and FS 36622 Gray on the underside.
The noseart is white script that reads "Mary Jane" with
a tiny cartoon drawing next to it of "Jerry" the cartoon
mouse from the Tom and Jerry cartoon on the left side. On
the right side of the nose is the script "Carol
Ann". On the top of the tail is a white and green
checkered fin flash.
The instructions are clear
and include 2 views of each aircraft. The decals are beautifully
printed on 3 decal sheets including national insignias.
A very
nice decal sheet with
these 3 Huns with noseart.
I
would like to thank Cutting
