After successful decals Japanese ZOO, Rising Decals bringing us this time set for Japanese Army Aircraft Captured by Yanks. The 1/72 scale was released first (1/48 scale will be coming out soon) - selling under number RD72005. The set includes decals (complete with national insignias) for 6 aircraft :

  • Ki-44-II Hei "Tojo" (s/n 2068) tested by TAIU-SWPA as aircraft No.11 at Clark Field, Philippines, June 1945

  • Ki-46-II "Dinah" (s/n 2846) tested by TAIC as aircraft No.10, Hollandia AB, New Guinea, December 1944

  • Ki-46-II "Dinah" same aircraft as above after rebuilt by TAIC in USA

  • Ki-61-I Ko "Tony" (s/n 263) tested by TAIC as aircraft No.9 at NAS Anacostia, Washington D.C., 1944

  • Ki-84-I "Frank" (s/n 1446) tested by TAIU-SWPA as aircraft No.17 at Clark Field, Philippines, June 1945

As usual, instruction sheet is in English and for those who prefer to paint the hinomarus themselves, included is a small mask for it. The sheet is very well printed and my samples are in perfect register. As soon as the 1/48 scale hits the market I'll bring you an update.

Again, this is a sheet for anyone who loves unusual and attractive color schemes.
