The second aircraft is
Panavia Tornado GR4 ZG756 at RAF Lossiemouth in 2005 with 14th Squadron in
a RAF Special 90th
Anniversary 2005 scheme. This scheme is the overall 2 tone grey
(Dark Camouflage Grey and Dark Sea Grey) with a Satin Roundel Blue tail
with a white stripe with black diamonds (white stripe is a decal and the
black diamonds will need to be painted on the model before the decal is
applied....a simple black stripe will do the trick). There is a
corresponding squadron artwork decal to be applied to the sides of the
forward section of the fuselage and the white stripe and black diamonds
and squadron crest are all included on the decal.
The third aircraft is
Panavia Tornado GR4 ZA564 - DK with 31 Squadron at RAH Marham in a RAF
Special 90th
Anniversary 2005 scheme. This scheme is the overall 2 tone grey
(Dark Camouflage Grey and Dark Sea Grey) with a Black tail with a golden
star with a green and yellow stripe on the tail. To do the tail
you'll need to paint it black and then simply apply the decals.
There is a corresponding squadron artwork decal to be applied to the sides
of the forward section of the fuselage and green and yellow checkerboard
and squadron crest are all included on the decal.

The fourth aircraft is
Panavia Tornado GR4 ZA543 - FF with 12 Squadron in a RAF Special 90th
Anniversary 2004 - 2005 scheme. This scheme is the overall 2 tone
grey (Dark Camouflage Grey and Dark Sea Grey) with a Black area along the
top of the fuselage. The tail is grey with Green/Black/White stripes
and an animals head. To do the tail you'll need to paint it grey
with black along the very top of the tail and then simply apply the
decals. There is a corresponding squadron artwork decal to be
applied to the sides of the forward section of the fuselage and the
Green/Black/White stripes and squadron crest are all included on the
decal.
The fifth aircraft is
Panavia Tornado GR4 ZA585 - AH with 12 Squadron in a RAF Special 90th
Anniversary 2004 - 2005 scheme. This scheme is the overall 2 tone
grey (Dark Camouflage Grey and Dark Sea Grey). The tail is grey with
Greenand yellow stripes and anniversary markings. To do the tail
you'll need to paint it grey and then simply apply the decals. There
is a corresponding squadron artwork decal to be applied to the sides of
the forward section of the fuselage and the Green/Yellow stripes and
squadron crest are all included on the decal.
The decals
themselves are flawlessly printed and very clearly printed on the 1/72
sample I have before me. Colours look solid and should cover very well, but
the decals appear thin and of a very high quality. Decals are
contained on 2 decal sheets for the 1/72 sheet.
There are 8 pages of instruction
sheets with 4 view colour drawings of each of the aircraft to aid in
painting and decal placement. This is a fine
decal sheet and a welcome treat for people interested in building some of
these colourful RAF Tornadoes.
