IsraDecal IAF-42 double sheet features 1/48 scale markings for six Israeli Air Force squadrons operating single seat and two seat versions of the F-16C/D Barak. The squadrons featured on this sheet include single seat small intake block 30 F-16C's of the First Jet and Knights of the North squadrons, two seat wide intake block 30 F-16D of the Valley squadron, single and two seat block 40 wide intake F-16C/D of the Scorpion and First Fighter squadrons and F-16C/D's belonging to Manat test and evaluation squadron. This release is an updated second printing of IsraDecal's sold out IAF-21 F-16C/D earlier Barak decal release. Both current and early versions of First Fighter and Manat test and evaluation squadron markings are provided. Unique Valley squadron 50th anniversary markings are also provided for their F-16D's. New high resolution printing technique has been used to correctly reproduce the multi tone IAF's 50th anniversary logos applied to all IAF aircraft during 1998. Complete stencils are provided for a two aircraft with production (gray and orange) and local repaint (black and red) options provided. Numerals are provided to do any IAF F-16C Barak one wishes. For the first time, air to air refueling receptacle guide markings are provided to accurately match the thinner contours of the two seat F-16D upper fuselage fairing. Individual chaff/flare dispensers are provided in red, yellow and white which make for a more colorful lower fuselage. Both the chaff/flares and the IAF 50th anniversary logo markings can be used on other aircraft and helicopters in used by the IAF. To aid in painting the aircraft as well as locating the various markings, an 8 page black and white instructions booklet is provided featuring 10 photos and 26 line drawings. This new sheet was used in building a First Fighter squadron F-16C Barak that will be featured in an upcoming issue of Scale Aircraft Modelling.
