This new decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks includes markings for 3 different Westland Wyverns for the Classic Airframes kit.

The first aircraft is a Wyvern S.4 "Dennis the Menace" with 813 Squadron, Royal Navy from the HMS Eagle in the fall of 1957.  A sharks mouth is included for the drop tank for this aircraft.  The spinner is white and red.  The top of the aircraft is extra Dark Sea Grey and the bottom and sides are Sky.

The second aircraft is a Wyvern S.4 "The Flook" with 831 Squadron, Royal Navy from the HMS Ark Royal in 1956.  The spinner is Sky and Red.  The top of the aircraft is extra Dark Sea Grey and the bottom and sides are Sky.

The third aircraft is a Wyvern S.4 with 830 Squadron, Royal Navy during Operation Musketeer in the Suez conflict in November 1956.  The spinner is Sky and Red.  The top of the aircraft is extra Dark Sea Grey and the bottom and sides are Sky.

There are black/yellow Suez War invasion stripes worn by 830 NAS during the Suez War in November 1956.  These stripes are included as decals and go around the rear fuselage as well as the top and bottom of the wings.  This aircraft includes a recce camera.

Bonus markings include additional stencils to help cover the multitude of stenciling variations seen on Wyverns. Note this sheet does not include roundels nor fin flashes as they are usable directly from the Classic Airframes kit.

The decals were flawlessly printed and in perfect registration and the clear carrier film is trimmed very close to the crisply printed colored areas.

The instructions are clear and include colour drawings to assist in decal placement as well as having the specific colours listed to aid in the painting process.  There are 2 pages of text including information about all 3 aircraft.

A very nice decal sheet and will be helpful for anyone building the 1/48 Westland Wyverns.

I would like to thank Cutting Edge Modelworks for providing me with this review sample.
