A
second plane flown by Capt Vic Vizcarra was given similar nose art and
this jet was named "Pussy Galore II". The triangle of
blonde hair is a separate decal to give the modeler the option of making
this nose art more politically correct to satisfy wives and young kids
that may be offended by the nose art. See Cutting Edge decal sheet
CED48179.
The decals were flawlessly printed and the clear
carrier film is trimmed close to the crisply printed colored areas. These
jets were not actually bare metal but instead had a very diluted silver
type paint applied to them. The two pages of text instructions
goes into great detail about how to correctly paint this F-105.
"Pussy Galore
I" was shot down over Mu Gia Pass on April 10 1967 and the pilot of
that mission (Major John O'Grady) is still listed as MIA.
The instructions
are clear and easy to follow. There is 5 pages of instructions in
all......3 of them are to the right. Instructions for decal
application are also included in the text instruction sheet. |
